I've seen this on the boards before but I can't find it now. For the Express Pass; is it better to check "have Celebrity do the rate conversion" or check "have your credit card company do the conversion"?

Am hoping to use my $300 US OBC to book excursions once we board the ship. I just noticed on the excursion pamphlet a note saying that excursions must be booked in the same currency as your cruise booking. We booked in Can. dollars. Does this mean I can't use my US credits for excursions? I'm a little confused.

Have booked here for two nights pre-cruise. Early March. Are there restaurants in the area? Will it be safe to walk to them (no car)? Is there a bit of shopping within walking distance ie. wine, snacks, etc.

Aquidneck1 what time will you start on your trip to Carambola. I guess what I really need to know is how much time will it take to deboard the ship. I see that you plan to be at Carambola for 9:30. What time will you get started in the morning?

First time cruisers so we have no idea about how it all works on a cruise ship. Ship docks in St Kitts at 7:00 am. Booked some chairs at Carambola for 9:00. Is this reasonable? How long to get off the boat, find a taxi and get to the beach?

Arriving at Fort Lauderdale Airport for cruise later this year. Booked at Comfort Suites Cruiseport. Looking at Trip Advisor I see that they no longer have a phone line that you can call to request a shuttle pick up. According to manager "most people use their own cellphones". Would have to pay roaming charges to use my cellphone (am Canadian). Are there any other options for contacting the hotel? Pay phone? Courtesy Desk at airport?

I know that there are numerous threads on this forum and the Florida forum regarding this. I just wanted to see if a few more details will help with choosing a flight time to leave FLL. Arriving back on Equinox March 14, 2016 after 10 night cruise. Am a Canadian citizen flying Westjet directly to Toronto. Is a noon flight feasible given these variables? Canadian citizen going through Customs at the cruise-port, peak times at FLL (March), direct flight to Canada. Also could choose a 1:20 flight for about an extra $100.
