I have no idea where you are looking on the website. When I look I see all the usual full suites perks like club class (reserve) dining and first night specialty dinner are all showing. Are you in a full suite or mini suite

TBH, it was my DH who was looking and mentioned it, so I’m not sure where he was looking. Maybe I should have looked myself 😉 we are in a full suite.

We have had mini suites before and can’t understand why they are called that. Nice bigger cabin and a bathtub, but don’t call it a suite if there are no perks!

    Thanks for replying 👍🏻

  2. We printed the suite benefits list when we booked our cruise in July, that list is the same as the posted link shared earlier.  On checking suite perks today on the Princess website, almost all perks relating to food and dining, laundry, shoe shine, Lotus Spa and others are not showing.

Have they been removed? If so, what exactly are we paying the extra for?

We will be sailing on Diamond Princess

  3. If I was choosing from that list, I would go with 1527 or 1535 based on what is above them. We had considered trying Concierge but we loved Blu as it is quiet and small, the food was great and we loved the breakfast choices.

We didn't use the Persian garden much as the noise from the showers in there is quite loud, making it not very peaceful.

We have this afternoon just booked aqua again for next August on the Equinox :D

  4. The venue makes a big difference. Celebrity and all lines have a difficult situation. The object is to try to please all guests. Some want strict enforcement. Some resent any rules. I've seen some very unruly people when even the simplest request is made. The fact that this thread is so long speaks for itself. People seem to need hundreds of inputs to understand the rules. The Celebrity written dress code is really quite clear and has been fine tuned for the thousands of questions over time. It is a living document that has been edited and clarified as the culture on board changes. Bottom line. The cruiseline wants the greatest number of cruisers possible to enjoy each venue. Of course, even more attention is given to loyal, frequent cruisers, as Mwould be the case in any business. They have designed suitable alternatives for just about every taste. Up to, you can eat in the nude in your cabin.

I think anyone making just the effort to read and follow the rules will be totally accepted and just fine. It almost takes deliberate disregard to cause any kind of stir. Really, dressing to the nines or minimal compliance with what is acceptable in each venue works great. Most people err on the side of bringing too much. I don't think this thread continuing to grow ad finitum will add any new enlightenment. What more can really be said? :-)

    Very well said [emoji4]

  5. We are first time cruisers and I was looking forward to formal nights. We are dining in Blu where formal wear is not compulsory on formal nights, will we feel a bit overdressed if we dress up? My question is, do people dress formally in the speciality restaurants/Blu on formal nights, even if they don't have to?
