My wife and I will be arriving in Haifa a few days before our Regent cruise embarks on June 5, 2022.  What is best hotel to stay at to be sure we get transported to the ship? 

Every place I visited took US dollars. Could also use Argentine money in most Chile locations, but not all. Do not try to use Argentine money in Falklands. British pounds and US is ok. Also,don't try to use Brit money in Argentina. The 1982 Falklands battle is still a very raw wound for inhabitants of both locations. Also, previous comment about getting change in local currency is correct. Expect that if you get any change at all.

There's an interesting zoo in Manaus. It is on the base of, and run by, the military. Has all the jungle animals, many which were somehow caught up as a result of the military activities. They use the area for their jungle training. Saw a black jaguar, regular jaguars swimming around in a large water facility which has pedestrian bridge over it that allowed looking down on the cats swimming around in the water and thoroughly enjoying it. Also, the big snakes- I don't recall whether anacondas, pythons or what, but would not want to encounter one on my own. Many various primates, and other unique creatures. Loved it.

We will be on the Emerald Princess in January. I had booked transfer from Valparaiso to Santiago. We found out about the port change and had to contact the company we booked transfers with. They just changed were to pick us up. I am sure they knew before us. They emailed me back confirmation of new location pickup.

Yep. Barcelona to Rome 4/13 - 4/23. This is our first Regent cruise. Itinerary and dates just fit. We've only cruised twice before- both on Oceania; up the Amazon n 2014, and around Great Britain in 2015. We went once on a RCL in the Carribean with a Lewis Black comedy group in 2010.

Happy to see a Montana poster! I am in Billings, and get to Miles City frequently on business (I'm a lawyer, and have much business in that part of the state).

OP: You are searching price quotes in anonymous mode on your browser, aren't you? Otherwise you have cookies, and they know you are looking and shopping, and your quotes will not ever go down.

Seems like someone who comes online to tell us about his "$200 custom tailored denims (not jeans)" that he wears since he "retired at 54" while "sipping Grey Goose martinis" in his "Penthouse" really wants us to know something else about him than his complaints about not being able to be cool and dress down with the jeans wearing folks. :rolleyes:

My wife and I will be staying there for three nights June 21-24, 2015, following our cruise. Looks nice; we are excited. Plan to take train from London to Bristol and rent a car for a few days.

We need to go from London to Southampton on Sunday, June 7, 2015. No megatrain on Sunday, so what is next best way to make trip so we can board our cruise? :confused:
