I was able to check in at 9:00 pm Pacific time the day before check in opened up. So it opened up at Midnight eastern time.

Remember to keep your hand off of those pool towels. They are watching to make sure no one makes off with one of those beauties.

I would have both, we were sailing out of Vancouver and had trouble getting a phone signal at the port. Luckily we had paper copies of everything or we might have been there a while trying to get a phone signal.

We had a bad experience with MTD on Ovation this summer. No reservations available until late, app was only occasionally working to try and make reservations. Huge lines on both the reservation side and the standby side.
Have a cruise on Enchantment in early November, the app shows MTD starting at 5:30. Possibly the smaller ships have more flexible MTD hours. We were able to book 5:45 My Time for all the nights except one where we selected 6:45. Done on the app and in my cruise planner. Fingers crossed that it all works.

We had MTD this summer on Ovation OTS. It was a mess. No reservations available prior to cruise. On board unable to make any reservations prior to 9 pm. The standby line and the reservation line both moved like snails.
We are sailing on Enchantment OTS in early November and have already booked 5:45 dining slots for MTD. Hopefully this will work out better than the MTD on Ovation. Might be a benefit of being on a smaller, older ship.

Monarch of the Seas was our first cruise in1997. Took our three kids on Song of America in1998 for a Mexican Riviera Cruise.

If you happen to submit your Arrive Can earlier that 72 hours you will just get a reminder to wail until you are within the 72 hours and resubmit.

They want it done within 72 hours of your entering Canada. If you try before the 72 hours you will get a notice to try again when you are within the 72 hrs.

Canada is removing pre testing requirement on April 1, 2022.

Tried logging in with existing log in and password. Was directed to screen asking for security info, new password and email. Got same reply as many about email already associated with another account.
Closed out of X website, went back in and logged in with email and old password. Directed to screen to verify privacy statement etc.
Then site opened and everything appeared to be correct.
Closed out of X website and tried logging in again and...... it worked.

The one I tried had a 20% banner across the excursion description. Only a few excursions designated as discounted, but not really discounted.The operative adjective here is 'selected' thus leading me to believe that the excursion you 'selected' is not one 'selected' by X for a discount, possibly?Have you tried other excursions to verify which ones are 'selected' and qualify for the discount(s) on your sailing?

Our cruise shows 20% discount on selected shore excursions. The listed discount price is the same as the original price. Put excursion in cart and no change.

Just got ETA visa today and the cost is 20 AUD. Very easy and got immediate confirmation that the electronic visa is now connected to our passports.Is it my imagination/poor memory or did the price of the visa come down? I applied just three months ago and I vaguely recall the price was AUD$20, or roughly US$15. Now it seems to be AUD$9. Good news for travelers.Sent from my SM-G930T using Forums mobile app

Our first European cruise was out of Barcelona. We had an overnight on the ship to begin the cruise. I booked a hotel for one night prior to the ships overnight so we could see a bit more of the city.
Flight from Portland to NY then NY to Barcelona. Huge thunderstorm over NY, diverted to Philadelphia then back to JFK. Missed connection and had to stay in NY.
Had third-party insurance that paid for hotel in NY plus meals and reimbursed for cost of Barcelona hotel.
For peace of mind I get the insurance for most cruises.

All that said, I have arrived into Heathrow, cleared immigration, gotten my bags, taken the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station, took a taxi to my hotel, checked in, and was in my room in a whopping 45 minutes from stepping off the plane.
The last two times into Heathrow with morning arrivals it has taken close to 45 minutes to get through passport control.

Rome Cabs was about 120 euros a while back. We took them from airport to hotel near Vatican, hotel to ship, and ship to airport. In our case large Mercedes town car. Drivers spoke excellent English on two legs, not quite as well on third (you can pay extra for tour-type transfer but we didn't and got tour guides anyway). When we got off the ship at 6:30 the driver was right there ready for us. Nice folks that we would use again in a heartbeat.
We also have used Rome Cabs twice when cruising from Rome. Very pleased with the service from Rome Cabs.
One time three couples from our roll call shared transport from Rome to the port. All three of us were staying at different hotels and Rome Cabs picked us up at each hotel and delivered us to the port.

Things have sure changed since our first cruise in 1995 on Monarch OTS out of San Juan. We were able to pickup a bottle of rum from the Baccardi store and carry it on the ship with no problems.

I received an email yesterday saying our cruise docs were available. I followed the link in the email to log in, and got to the page where they should be and found they were listed as not yet available. I gave it another day, checked this morning, and they still aren't there. I'm not actually concerned about printing these now as it looks like passport numbers are required on my part and I do not yet have our new ones in hand. We are 48 days out now. Has anyone else had this problem?
Docs are normally available about 50 days out. If you haven't finished the information for your setsail pass (passport numbers ) this will delay your edocs. Once you have your passport numbers you should be able to get the edocs.

Our cruise on Enchantment stops in PC a week from Sunday. There are several Shore Excursions listed for our sailing. Transport to Cocoa Beach, Universal Studio shuttle, Space Center transport/tours etc
