  1. Our family, including our 19 month old son, is booked next week on the Oasis. I understand there is a specific "splash" area for children that are not toilet trained but I am having a hard time finding any details about this area. Can someone tell me if this is just a baby pool or if it is a shallow area with little water features or water squirting statues? Just trying to get a better idea of what to expect. Thanks in advance!!

  2. No, I'm not looking for a free trip. I am simply wondering if there is another option besides the "deluxe" blue lagoon beach day that doesn't cost $80 plus. Something that provide beach assess without the deluxe benefits. The deluxe comes with a lunch, however the stingray encounter is around $60 and doesn't have lunch provided but does allow for beach access. Some in our party would have no interest in the stingray encounter and don't really care about the lunch being included but it appears they are stuck with one or the other.

  3. A few people in our party are going to book the stingray encounter at Blue Lagoon, but there are several of use who do not care to do an animal encounter. Since we would all like to end up at the same place, I have a few questions.

    1) Do those of us skipping the animal encounter have to pay for a beach day? I see that the deluxe beach day is the only offering directly from the cruise line (when not booking an animal encounter) and it's more expensive than the stingray encounter. I don't care about the extras you get with the beach day ticket like the included lunch but wasn't sure if that is the only option.

    2) Those of us that don't book with the cruise line, which is the best option for getting to blue lagoon? We have a 18 month old and would rather travel in a manner that makes the most sense considering the toddler.

    Thanks!

  4. We will be sailing 7 nights to Alaska on the Explorer of the Seas in June (next month!) and I have had no luck finding the menus or "themed" nightly schedule for the main dining room. We were looking to book a night or two at Chops and wanted to see what we would be missing in the MDR first! I have usually been able to find this info for past sailings but have had no luck this time. Maybe it is because the EOS info isn't as widely available as some of the bigger/newer ships or maybe it is because of the limited time they run this itinerary. Either way, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
