  1. RCI does not control the ferries. They have to work around other ferries and traffic in the Hudson. It's a very busy port. As for the rough seas, if you go back and check the forecast and what happened, you will see that the hurricane came 75 miles farther north than was forecast before it turned east out to sea. No one controls the weather and hurricanes do what they want.

The NY Watertaxi was just for the passengers on RC! We were told the wait would be 20 minutes. That 20 minutes turned into an hour and then add in the additional time to unload passengers!!! When talking to the NY Watertaxi they told us at least 30 minutes to and from and add time for passengers unloading and loading. Something the crew from RC failed to mention.

  2. Hi!

There is absolutely NOTHING on RCCL's very accurate, up-to-the minute, posting on their website about the Port of Baltimore and/or the Granduer of the Seas. It lists ALL the other Ports and Ships that have been affected over the last 4-5 days days, with advisories, warnings, closures, refund info. etc. etc., so I find your post HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS (:D) , and your parents very CONFUSED (). Nice try to cause trouble from a non-Royal cruiser!

OH NO!!!! As a ROYAL cruiser, I was on that ship and we didn't know where we were going until SUNDAY!!! And YES, we went to BAYONNE!!!! Far cry from Bermuda!

  3. From my understanding, the advertised 20% off is actually the 47.00/person/day. If we don't purchase now, we could possibly pay 57.00 plus tip on the ship.

When I put the package in my cart for three ppl. my total was over 1400, which included a tip.

I don't want to call customer service because the last two times I have called, I just get aggravated. I didn't even get a "thank you" for cruising with us or have a great cruise!

This just seems so much money!!!
