According to Rejseplanen.dk the shortest trip is to walk to Nørreport and take bus 25 from there.

The bus departs at 00, 20 and 40th minute past the hour.

To Absalon you just take either bus 25 or 27 to Østerport and change to any southbound S-train from here (Towards Køge Line A, Høje Taastrup Line B or Frederikssund/Ballerup line C or H)

Danish Viking I want to thank you most sincerely and gratefully for your time answering my post.  I really appreciate it and I know everyone does too.  I had an amazing time in Copenhagen such a beautiful city and the people too!

Gracelovecruising  just getting to read all the post and saw where you were staying at Absalon  hotel in Copenhagen, we will be their next year and looking at this hotel, what can you tell me about the hotel Pro, and Con and location to City Center walkable?

Fantastic location for airport, one minute walk to station and there in 14 minutes.

Think too far to walk to town center but again near station so one or two stops and in. I got train in.

I really liked the hotel, area a little run down but was fine, about 20/25 minute walk I think into city if I recall right what the staff member told me!

Had a room facing courtyard so was quiet

    Lovely breakfast

No air conditioning but loads of windows

For Copenhagen price was great I thought

  3. Dear Danish Viking,

You helped me three years ago with a couple of questions for a Baltic Cruise and again coming for Norwegian Fjords in a few days time! I would appreciate your help again so very much! Thank you😉

    (1)  On Sunday 19th May I need to get from the Skt Petri Hotel in København to Ocean Kai , could you please guide me on transport, was hoping to get bus/train. I was trying to calculate taxi costs but was not successful in finding out.

    (2)  On Sunday 26th May I need to get from Ocean Kai to Absalon Hotel in København

Many thanks in advance, really appreciate it.

    Grace

  4. Dear Danish Viking,

Hope you are keeping well. You helped me two years ago when I visited Copenhagen in advance of going on a cruise. I am now going on another cruise but staying in a different hotel. On Sunday, 14th May I need to get to the Port for an MSC Cruise to the Norwegian Fjords and return on Sunday 21st May. Could you please help me get from my hotel The Admiral to the Port and back again.

Thank you so much in advance for your help, you are amazing! It is greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks.

  5. Thank you so much Dutch Viking. You are amazing with all your knowledge and kindly giving it too. I am and also everyone else is very grateful. My problem is I have had a foot and leg injury for last 5 months but had this trip booked so want to still go. I am thinking of getting the red hop on hop off bus. I would like to see the popular sites but have never been to Copenhagen before. What do you think of getting hop on hop off bus? or if there is anything you can recommend. Once again, thanks so very much.

  6. Dear Danish Viking,

Happy belated 30th birthday - as we say in Ireland you are a little spring chicken, just 30! Hope you had a lovely weekend.

I don't know how to thank you so much for your reply and very quickly too. I am a bit anxious due to the walking stick. Could you tell me if there will be much walking for me? Thank you so much.

I wonder also if I could please ask you another request. I arrive back from cruise at 12 noon on Saturday 30th May - MSC coming from Russia. Could you please give me some information about getting from cruise terminal to hotel - Radisson Blu Falconer Hotel, Frederiksberg?

    Thanking you so very much

  7. Dear Danish Viking

This is my first question on cruise critic!! Hope I am doing it right. I would be most grateful please for your advice. I have a slight disability and use a walking stick at times.

I am arriving in Copenhagen Airport on Thursday 21st May staying in the Radisson Blu Falconer Hotel, Frederiksberg for 2 nights. I go on an MSC Cruise on Saturday 23rd to St Petersburg and arrive back on Saturday 30th. I will go back to hotel for one night, departing Copenhagen on Sunday 31st May. I would appreciate if you could please tell me:

    (1) how to get from hotel to cruise terminal (I have read a lot of your reviews and see some special cruise bus is not running on Saturdays)

    (2) will I need cash at airport to get to hotel on metro? Is it difficult due to disability

Any advice you can give would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance for your time.
