I have cruised with Princess 14 times (total sea days 120) which makes me Platinum. After my next cruise in September, I will finally be Elite.
I have spent thousands of dollars on cruising since 1980 and would not like to have any one rock the boat to have a different level between Platinum and Elite until I have reached Elite.

loved the pics of Vancouver and Victoria. I drove thru Stanley Park today as my mother turned 92 and she wanted to see all the flowers. unfortunately, the flowers weren`t in bloom yet, but at least it was a nice sunny day

After disembarking the NCL Pearl we headed to our hotel. We stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown. Great hotel at a good price. The hotel is within walking distance to everything. They also offer free shuttle service to local attractions (including Canada Place and Stanley Park) and free breakfast in the morning.
After checking in to our hotel we walked to Stanley Park. It is beautiful there.
After walking Stanley Park we walked by the Olympic Cauldren.
Later that night we went to Gastown. There we ate at The Flying Pig. I highly recommend this place! Excellent service, great food, plus they have local brews on tap. Awesome!
And while you are in Gastown check out their steam clock!
I ate at the flying pig earlier this month for lunch. Boss took us after we finished the income tax season. What did you have. I had the triple pea soup. It was delllliiiiiioooooouuuuussss. Also the beef short rib (off the dinner menu).

I haven`t received magazine in years. Everytime I call for it, they always tell me that my address is not deliverable. I have lived here for 28 years.

It is too bad that passengers only have a very short time in Victoria. Our capital city is beautiful. They should make it that they arrive in early afternoon so passengers can see our beautiful city.

you could try and find someplace in one of your ports of call

1980 on the original Pacific Princess (Love Boat) from LA to Acapulco. 7 days.

never heard of this. All the cruise lines are independent, even if they are owned by 1 corporation. If you could get points for every line, wow, I would be way ahead of the game.

my niece and I did this itinerary on the Veendam 2 years ago from Montreal to Boston (7 days). We had 1 day before the cruise in Montreal then the 7 days to Boston, stayed for 3 days then took the train (3 hours) to New York for 4 days. Had a wonderful time except we missed Charlottetown because of high seas and couldn`t dock. Had a sea day to replace it. All in all, we had a fabulous time.

I just love your review. You two girls are cute. Could be models the way you pose. I went on the Disney Cruise to Alaska a couple of years ago and enjoyed it very much.

They have wheelchairs on board that you can borrow. We did this on the Rhapsody and they said we had to put a $200 deposit down. They took my cabin number then delivered the chair to my cabin. My aunt actually used it and she was in the cabin next door to us. We also had handicapped cabins. You can only use the wheelchairs on board and you cannot take them off the ship. My aunt just needed it to get around the ship, because it was so big. They never charged the $200 to my account. I just had to bring the wheelchair back to guest services and they checked it off as being returned.

I was on the Rhapsody sailing from Vancouver to Hawaii September 6, 2013 and they introduced new menus for the start of the next cruises.
