We bought my 10 yr old one from Walmart for $1.97. They sale them on the ship too. We bought one from the photo dept on board for 6.95 that has anchors on it and is nice.

No, you will not. Just make sure that they change your cruise, not cancel and rebook. As long as your booking number is the same, you will keep your OBC. The amount will also adjust to match the length of your new cruise.
I always book a sleeper cruise and then change it later. I have never had an issue with keeping my OBC.
I agree with this post. Make sure you keep the same booking number when you change the cruise and you will keep the OBC from booking on board.
Now if you had additional OBC from a cruise fare that included OBC when you booked, you would lose that unless your new cruise has a rate that offered OBC too.

My daughter was a month from being 6 on our last cruise. They asked her if she wanted to move up and she did not. Almost Every time I picked her up from camp she had a medal from winning something so that could have been why she liked the younger group.
You can leave your kid in camp on port days if you want.
Some days camp closes about 4, then reopens at 6 at the lido buffet so the kids can eat with their new friends, then they take the kids to camp.
From my experience all kid's parents in the 2-5 age group get cell phones that work all over the ship so camp can call you if they need to.

We had 2330 on the magic, so I'm not sure if that is similar to yours or not but ours was never wet. Or at least not the chairs. Two days we did have letters left that said not to leave anything on the balcony due to staff cleaning the balconies. A couple of days the floor was wet, I'm guessing water running down from cleaning other balconies.

I got an email notifying me it was approved. And you could see the obc listed when you go in to print documents.
Edit: oops. just noticed this was a princess board and not carnival. This is how it on on carnival.

I agree about the 10:45. Then you all go to the cabin that has the Fttf because it should be ready.
We had family traveling with us last month for their first cruise. So we all went to our cabin and hung out on the balcony, then left all carry ons in there and went to lunch.

We were on magic last month. Camp is not open the first night so if you are trying to drop off the kids there that wouldn't work. Then night 2 is elegant night. I'd make reservations prior to sailing if I was you. While on the ship, We called on Thursday to get reservations that might and all they had was 6pm on Thursday and nothing on Friday. We went ahead and took the 6pm. [emoji1]

I'd love the obc. I cruise with hubby and 2 kids. We'd have $400 obc. [emoji1] we could buy a couple of hoodies in the carnival gift shop.

Obc is divided between the first two names listed in the room. I had obc from a certificate so obviously mine. And I paid for myself and son but we were 1&3 listed on room (or 2&3) but credit divided between 1&2. I went to front desk and they would not change. I had to ask my friend for the money [emoji15] awkward!!
Any idea what happens if person 2 on the booking is a child and her acct has no charging privileges? My brother in law and his child are booked as person 1 and 2. My BILs girlfriend is listed as person 3. I sent in a friends and family voucher on their behalf and just wondering how it will be applied.

What did y'all do at each port? We will be doing this itinerary this month.

We usually order the kids the fruit cocktail for their appetizer. I'm not sure if that is on the kids menu or regular menu though.

We booked last September for this September and the current price is more than $400 higher now. We booked in May 2016 for sept 2017 on the vista and the rate is already $100+ more now.

Ugh. This is disappointing to read. I ordered 2 different packs for my kids in my room and one for a niece in another room. We cruise in September. I'd rather it be that all 3 get something or none at all. [emoji52]
I also ordered flip flops for us, is anyone still getting those?

Are the pb&j sandwiches toasted in the mdr? I know our room service ones were and my kids prefer untoasted. [emoji3] room service can make them untoasted so that makes me think they are not premade.

Anyone else got experience with these 2 excursions?

I'd probably say Magic too although I haven't sailed on either. Vista prices might start going down if you wait.
I think we have booked both of the cruises you mention for our upcoming cruises. I know for our vista cruise we are paying about $150 more for 6 nights instead of 7.
-
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think if they cancel the cabin would be re-fared at a 2 person rate and they might have to pay more if the price has increased.
I believe if it is close to sailing they should just be a no show.

Nobody knows when. They usually run reduced deposit promos once or twice a month. None yet for June so just be on the lookout. And lately, the deposits are "from" $49pp. Some cruises will be more than that. Vista and Alaska sailings have been more for sure.
Agree. Vista deposits have been $149 pp when carnival has the $49 deposit sale.
The 50% off deposit sale works better by a little bit if you are booking the vista.

When I had a gift card balance left I received a new gift card in the mail in about 3 days. It was fedex overnighted to me. I was shocked. Not sure how long it would take for a cash refund.

Who still uses checks, other than my annual 5 dollar birthday gift from my parents
I still write a check every week to my kids' daycare. They only take cash, check or M.O.

I just booked vista last night for September 2017! [emoji33]

Love it so far. We cruising this ship in September and always have our 2 kids.

We are in magic on 9/17. Regular oceanview cabins have been sold out for a long time on ours. And the price for our cove balcony has increased over $300 since we booked last sept.

One of the perks of the family harbor cabins is that the kids eat free in the specialty restaurants.
