Well I found this information about the Chic Night from others who are currently on this cruise! Also we do not get off the ship in Naples, Italy they will disembark in Rome, Italy on October the 11th. So you are correct they would not be holding the formal or chic night before they disembark in Rome!
Excellent and thanks again Penn State 66' - very much appreciated, will book accordingly.

I called the Celebrity Cruise help desk --- not entirely sure how helpful it was, as they said that Chic/Formal nights are at the discretion of the cruise director of the ship. I probably will be able to find out from those who took the cruise w/ the same itinerary hopefully. In the meantime will wait to book our specialty restaurants. Appreciate everyone's help.

Thank you PENN ST. 66' - appreciate it...so both sea days it seems. This will help w/ our booking. Have a great day and thanks for the helpful answer.

Hello fellow cruisers! Hoping you can help my wife and I plan, pack and make reservations for our cruise on September 30th on the Edge.

Will be cruising on the Edge during September 30th voyage Amalfi Coast / Greek Islands - will be staying in a Suite w/ Premium Beverage Package - I seem to recall in past cruises that they had Leffe Blonde which is one of my favorite beers (in most bars). Is this still the case? Thanks so much for your help

Got you covered ;););)

Wow.. very high prices for Specialty Restaurants... not sure if we would buy a Dining Package, if offered. Our cruise is for only one week, so we will be spending most of our time in BLU, and at the buffet with one night out as a splurge.
We usually go out a bit more but feel priced out, esp without the benefit of dining reviews . Hope they will have adequate staff to operate all these places at optimal service levels!
Glad we have the Classic Alcohol package as a perk, and our E -plus perks for internet and laundry!
Wondering how high the prices will be for Spa services?
Still exciting to hear all the news!
Rooftop Garden Grill $45 PP for BBQ....wondering if there's a lower price for lunch (would assume so)? As $45 PP for the dishes shown in the menu seems really steep
Eden starts @ $65 PP
Le Grand Bistro @ 25 PP
Raw @ ala cart PP
Fine Cut starts @ $55 PP (assume more for prime cuts / dry aged)

A number of posters in the past, I am included in the group, have said that new cruisers tend to get the upgrades, not very loyal cruisers. Just out of curiosity: How many times have you cruised with Celebrity?
Cruised only 2 times with Celebrity and 2 times with Royal...however, my parents have cruised more times than I can count and typically at least every other month. Wondering if that would have anything to do with it?
-
Sincere best wishes on your upgrade! Still waiting to get one! We have, however, cruised RS on many occasions and can confirm you are in for a great time!
Some of the perks we really enjoyed were the in room bar set up and the unlimited speciality dining....Enjoy!
Thanks so much for the well wishes...it's starting to sink in now. Very lucky and blessed. Now just need to wait till September 28th

I'm booking a GTY next time:)!
Can you tell me how soon your sailing is?
Congrats and ENJOY!
Sailing is September 28th Departing from Venice...
-
Thank you so much...so very excited to have this happen.
Hopefully the good luck and fortune happens to other GTY Suite people on this board.

Definitely going to do the brewery tour for sure...and the restaurant recommendations look great as well.
Very much appreciate everyone's time in helping me on my trip.
-
All,
Only in Bruges for very short time (port stop) on September 4th - absolutely love Belgium Beer...
Would love to have some recommendations for a brewery tour in that area?
Also, if the brewery tour is not an option any good bars in the area for great selection of Belgium Beers?
Thanks all...

All,
Preparing for a Celebrity Cruise that departs Amsterdam on Sept 3rd - will land in Zeebrugge on Sept 4th.
I was wondering how easy it was to rent a bike where the ship hits port in Zeebrugge?
And also for those who have done the ride to Bruges about how long does it take?
Any issues or other items I should be aware of when taking this endeavor on?
Thanks so much,
Michael

Also need to check if your cruise has the VAT (value added tax) assigned for the EU ports. That can add to the costs significantly. Probably the main reason to book prior.
