  1. I have just received an email from Celebrity regarding a change in itinerary for my 1st May cruise on Silhouette. Really annoyed that they have removed 2 ports (Vigo, La Coruna) and replaced with another day at sea, replaced 2 days in Bilbao with 1 day in Bilbao and 2 days in Porto, so all in all a complete itinerary change. I booked the cruise to go to Santiago de Compostela from Vigo, so the choice is now to accept the changes or cancel!!

  2. I booked a guarantee cabin 2 months ago, I travel 3 weeks today and I am still awaiting a cabin assignment, the cruise is sold out so how do they not know what cabin I am in, the op was really lucky to be allocated a cabin so fast xx

  3. We also booked a European cruise in June 2019 which was and still is guarantee only for veranda/concierge cabins. Celebrity apparently holds all of those cabins...hoping, I guess, for families with more than 2 in each cabin....or multiple cabin bookings.

     

    After two months of waiting...and knowing that there were cabins unassigned, I was really annoyed by this "policy" until I figured out how to get a cabin assigned. If Celebrity wants to play games with cabin assignments, I figure it's fine for me to also play the game.

     

    Consider yourself lucky to have had a cabin assigned so quickly. I'm curious if you booked more than 2 people in the cabin or booked more than one cabin....

  4. Have you filled out the online checkin and can access to the cruise planner?

    We did not get notified by email or our TA, but the cabin number was visible in the online planner.

     

     

     

    Hi yes I did the online check in straight away, I can print off my express pass but it just says guarantee cabin [emoji51]

I too have a guaranty cabin for a cruise leaving on October 21st and have been assured by Celebrity reps directly (not via my travel agent) that the revenue team holds back cabins for guaranty’s so you cannot see them when you look online for inventory. So don’t get too nervous yet. They say there is still a lot out of time to assign cabins from a revenue department perspective.

  6. I’ve had allocations from about 1/4 hour after booking to at the pier.

     

     

     

    There will be a cabin for you.

Hi I booked a guarantee inside cabin a month ago for a cruise leaving 21st October, I have not been allocated a cabin yet, which is unusual as whenever I have booked a guarantee cabin before it has been allocated pretty quickly, the only problem is if I do a dummy booking on my cruise there are no cabins left !!!!! I would like to book dining/trips etc but won’t let me as I have no cabin number, just wondered if there are no cabins left, do they wait for someone to cancel before allocating me a cabin #cruisedrama lol [emoji51]xx
