  1. Hi Diane!

I have all the Capers as well as the Spa Menu and Spa Specials from my Western Sailing on 1/28.

From what I can see the Acupuncture was not listed on the "regular Spa Menu" it was however on for example the insert we received for Embarkation Day Special (and on other days as well for the same price) for 50 minutes it was $125

    Hey Liza!!

  2. Paperbooks are ok, but I listen to Audiobooks! Its so much less work, I don't wanna do all that page turning while I'm on vacation! I think the Dan Brown books are good ones for a trip, and you can't go wrong with Harry Potter, he'll give you something to talk about onthe ship cause almost everyone and their uncle has read those. Put them in your MP3 player and you are good to go!
I listen to Harry Potter Too!!!!!!! Wife reads on the balcony!!!

  3. Be very wary about renting a car in Mexico. You would need Mexican auto insurance because they don't recognize American insurance.

I have read some real scary stories about driving in Mexico on these boards. Seems there can be some big time corruption thereabouts.

So maybe you don't want to see the "real" Mexico as much as you think.

Ah yes the real Mexico... rent a car have it broken into and try to get back to your ship in time.. Yes this is the real mexico.. I lived in San Diego and TJ was the same..lol..

We had a group of folks on our last cruise there to take a plane to the ruins!!! Great excursion they said!!!! Alot less time too than riding the bus.. They got there before it got to hot and all the people show up!!!

  4. When I cruise with the kids, we take early seating. We all get to eat together and then they head off for the evening activities which gives us grown ups some alone time. We are also hungry enough to eat at the midnight buffets.

Without the kids, I prefer late seating. It usually gives us more time in port, and a period of time with the pools quiet. Less rushed. Down fall, not hungry to eat any more over the course of the night.

Could not have said it better! :)

  5. OK I can't resist I was on the Fanasty, going to the elevators (Glass Ones) to find my wife and her girlfriend who went for brownies and cokes for the rum. We had already been drinking:rolleyes: . Well as I approach the elevators it opens and there they are laughing hard. Well when they saw me they started laughing harder. My wife got out of the elevator but not Lucie. We just saw her shrinking to the floor holding 2 cokes and a plate of cookies, with new people getting on as the doors closed. You guessed it she wet her self right there on the elevator. When the elevator returned she was in the same position ( on the floor) laughing but the cokes made it! LOL:) If you could have seen the look on her face as the doors were shutting! Tears were comming out of her eyes she was laughing so hard. The other people on the elevator just shook there heads, another drunk one! P.S. She was in her late 30t's
