  1. When I sail next month, it will be my first time coming onboard as a returning Gold Level Crown and Anchor member. I saw online that this includes benefits. The ones I'm most interested in are: Invitation to Exclusive Welcome Back Party and Onboard Offers Loaded on Seapass Card.

Can anyone speak to these benefits? For example, does the Welcome Back Party include drink specials/free drinks? What types of offers are loaded on the Seapass Card?

Anything else I should look out for as a C&A Society member?

    Thanks!

  2. I'm not an adrenaline junkie, so I'm not interested in zip-lining, jet skis, or coasters at Labadee. From looking at different posts and photos online, it seems Labadee has a theme-park feel to it. Is this true, or are there any quiet spots for sun and swim? Also, has anyone done the Amiga Island Experience excursion? It looks absolutely beautiful, but does come at a cost. Is it worth it to find some peace and beauty?

    Thanks for any suggestions!

  3. We were at Barefoot Beach in May 2015, and I absolutely loved it. It was the highlight of my Bahamas cruise, but maybe not for reasons others would like. The thing I liked about it was not the plethora of services, but the lack of services. It's a beautiful stretch of pristine beach, calm water, and beach chairs. That's it. We almost felt we were alone. It was very quiet, no crowds. A very short 2 min walk away there was a small bar staffed by one man. We never had to wait to be served. It was so nice to get away from the crowded ship and have some room to breathe.

To answer some of your specific questions, I did not see any clam shell type cabanas, only beach chairs. Snorkeling may not be great here. I did not see any reef. There is a good deal of sea grass, some small fish, and we did see stingrays swim by. The water is very shallow. When the tide goes down, especially after 3pm, the water is ankle/mid calf deep for as far as you can walk out.
