Publix stores have a decent selection and pricing, some also have a package store adjacent. 8 AM is the earliest wine can be purchased in FL (11 AM on Sundays). Most Walmarts and convenience stores also carry beer and wine (can't speak to the provenance, though!! LOL!!!)

Hadn't thought of that! I'm sure I'll be able to catch a reply of the commercials ( on-line) later.
Thanks

Cancelled and rebooked (for a discount) deluxe beverage and refreshment pkgs. on Monday, credit posted on Friday

Suggest using the Valet parking service. Flat $20 surcharge over DIY parking and well worth it. Quick return of car when cruise is over
-
"I agree. I don't care for Tampa as far as parking."
Have to disagree...we always use the valet parking which is well worth the slight extra cost. Have never waited longer than five minutes for our car.

Large enough to have plenty of entertainment and food options without being overwhelmin
Completely agree JT...did the ABC cruise last January, 2018 on NAVI and had a ball. Large enough to be fun but not so large as to wear you out! Plenty of things to do and places to go (or sit!)

My wife and I are sailing on "X" for the first time. All of our previous cruises have been on RCCL. What is the difference between the Classic and Premium beverage pkgs? I enjoy a Beefeater martini before dinner, so I'm curious!

Great review, thanks. We were on Navi in January for the 9 night ABC's cruise and I can wholeheartedly concur with the OP's comments. The entire crew was happy, helpful and could not do enough to make our trip more enjoyable! Love the ship, wish it sailed from Tampa (damn Skyway bridge!)

Let's hope that the Eagles make this a moot subject.;p
Bill
Fully agree, Bill. I'll be on Navi, cheering the Birds on!

Live 45 minutes from port, love to sail from Tampa...valet is the way to go, without question! Sailed over Thanksgiving on Brilliance..the very first disembark for refurbished terminal 6...DISASTER!!
Glad to hear it is improving!!

Enjoying you review...we sail on Navi January 19, same itinerary. Have fun!

Catperson--Agree with most of your comments but didn't have the duck this cruise so I defer to you. The shrimp cocktail has been smaller so I just order two! Did not have the temperature problem you reference, ours were always properly chilled. Also, like the fact that the deuces (2 tops) appear to been spaced farther apart, easier access and more privacy.
As I stated above, the Terminal 6 problem was a mess and RCL and Port of Tampa need to quickly find a solution

Terminal 6 seems to be a problem and might give cruisers a bad start. We arrived at 12 and Line was outside the terminal. Took 2 hours to board. Worst boarding experience for us but cruise was good.Sent from my iPhone using Forums
We were on the Thanksgiving cruise which left from Terminal 3 but was the first time Brilliance returned to terminal 6. Disembarkation was awful, we didn't get out of the terminal until 11:50 AM! The terminal is too small and woefully inadequate for the 2100+ passengers Brilliance carries, as there were only THREE customs lines open. RCL and Port of Tampa need to rectify this problem ASAP! Meanwhile, almost 1500+ passengers are still waiting to board as we were trying to leave! A real mess!!

Unfortunately, Brilliance still has curtains...maybe the upcoming drydock will change things

Thanks for all the hard work, we sail the same itinerary in January so we read it with interest!

We will be on this cruise come January...enjoying the pix and comments. Thanks!

Just off the same(?) cruise...fortunately we did not experience the food problems mentioned above. Our dinners were all in the MDR and were uniformly delicious, properly prepared and served hot by two of the best servers we have encountered (Gabriel and Nitin in the MTD section). Had two glasses of wine each night and never experienced a delay. The appetizers (generally shrimp cocktail or escargots) were also delicious and properly prepared and served.
The crew had smiles on their faces and seemed genuinely pleased to be on board. We only spoke to the cabin attendant once, briefly, but I don't consider that a negative as the cabin was always ready for us.
Yes, the Lady B is aging (some rust spots on our balcony) but seems to be holding up well and our cabin showed none of the furniture deterioration mentioned above. We have sailed on Brilliance three or four times before and will again...UNLESS she continues to port at Terminal 6...and that disaster deserves its own thread

Thanks to both of you!

Just booked this cabin for next July cruise to NE/Canada. Would like to hear any comments, looking forward to our first time in a "hump" cabin!

Generally one of the first decorations is a very tall Christmas tree in the Centrum on "Black Friday." It is so warm and pleasant to sit in the R-Bar and have a pre-dinner cocktail (or two, you are on a cruise!), while enjoying the first tree of the season. Our first cruise ever was a Christmas cruise on Brilliance and we sailed her last Thanksgiving and will be on her again this year

Took our teen granddaughters on this cruise last August...Loved reliving it thru your postings. Thanks!

Sent in our renewal forms, pix, etc. on June 20 and received the new passports today, July1.

We are sailing on Navigator in January, 2018, our first time cruising out of Miami. Was considering using Premium Cruise Parking...has anyone had any experience with their service? Thanks!

We totally enjoyed our cruise on Serenade last February. Had no problem sleeping on the mattress, and no problems of any kind that I can remember either.
We were also on Serenade this past February and I concur with Islandlady, no upkeep or housekeeping problems. Beds were fine (but, like food, quite subjective to each individual)>

If RCL eliminates Vision and Radiance classes altogether, that means no more sailing out of either Baltimore or Tampa, due to the bridge clearance problem. I can't see them walking away from those two profitable markets outside of a bankruptcy reorganization-required downsizing.
