My husband and I are going on this cruise in July and are very excited! It sound like we may be the young ones on the ship as we are in our mid forties. We have booked on the jewel deck so we won't have the balcony but we are just excited to be able to go!

Has anyone booked their hotel with Scenic? We did and are staying at the Doubletree in Amsterdam, I'm just wondering if scenic provides anything on the hotel days? Such as, the taylor-made gps or bikes?

We are looking to book our first river cruise and have 3 options at this point. We want to sail Amsterdam to Budapest in July or August 2017 for our 25th anniversary. Our TA has suggested Viking, Avalon or Scenic. Scenic is the most expensive but we love the included tours (feast at a castle, sound of music, concerts, etc.) The info on the other lines doesn't show options like this and if they have them how much they cost. I will connect with my TA tomorrow but figured this community would have lots of answers as they did with ocean cruises we have booked.

Also, we are considering booking a lower room without balcony y to save money, it's the experiences in port we are excited are out. Any thoughts?

Any feedback are out out your experiences would be most appreciated. We are younger then many river cruisers, mid 40, and have never been to Europe.

You just need to call back and explain your situation. See what they have to say, you never know, sometimes you get the right person on the phone and they can help sort things out. If you are still not happy you could pop in to see a travel agent and see if they can get your reservation transferred and help you make the best decision. If it doesn't work out, cancel and look for the right cruise or trip, you still have lots of time! Take a deep breath and relax this is not the end of the world, although it may seem like it now, everything will be alright!

Does anyone know what kind of Internet access is available if you don't buy the wifi? And what it would cost? I have a 17 year old daughter who will be in Europe and a 19 year son at home on his own who I would like to have contact with but the wifi is $182 canadian for the week.......for just sending a couple emails a day that sounds excessive.

I am going on my first cruise in less than 2 weeks and I have bought the royal replenish package! I would also love drink ideas. I plan to get a lot of specialty coffee drinks, fresh oj and water but would also enjoy having something fancier while lounging by the pool or as an evening bevarage. If anyone out there has some favorites they would like to share I would love to hear about them. Also, does anyone know if juices from Squeeze are included with the package?
