Advice needed please

On my first cruise leaving Saturday

I have the labels that were sent to us that we fix round the handles of the cases but they look rather vulnerable to tear, do I for extra security place another in a holder or am I worrying unnecessarily?

I am off on my first cruise in 3 weeks and wondered if there is a limit to size of the carry on bag.I was planning to have a trolley case but is there a minimum/maximum size?

Also I have read about the lack of sockets in the cabins, I am going on the Arcadia. Would it be a good idea to take an extension lead?

I am sailing on the Arcadia j604, the one before you and I have already had the excursions list on my Cruise personaliser. They have been there about 3 weeks.

Thanks all for your comments. Hubby and I have now booked our first cruise through a travel agent. The price actually was a little bit cheaper than many online sites.

Hubby and I are hoping to soon book our first cruise to the Med next year with P&O.

My question is how is the best way to book? Travel agent, direct with the cruise company on the telephone or book via the website?

When I picked up the brochures from Thomas Cook the young lady said they can get better deals then the cruise companies can. Is this true? If any of you well cruised people can help with advice I would be grateful.:)
