We were offered a cruise thru Blue Chip.  Has anyone recently been able to add the “all inclusive—drinks/tips/WiFi  to their offer WITH a fee.  I tried calling tonight—but blue chip closed at 8.   I probably won’t be able to call now until Thursday (and wait on hold).  We sail this Monday

Would love to be able to add package if possible.   Was surprised to get offer— since we haven’t cruise in several years & didn’t gamble much

Yes! You don't need to add bev or wifi through Blue Chip, just call Celebrity tomorrow with reservation #. Maybe I'll see you on Monday!

HaHaHa an Emotional Support Priest (ESP) who you could bring along.  I just found this very funny.  Would you take him on the plane too?  Not trying to offend anybody but just very funny to me. 😄

Yes. I meant it to be funny! I suggested they implement a bring your own priest program (BOP). Kidding aside, I know many crew are Catholic and would gladly attend Mass if offered.

Well, it is safe to say for me that unless I am traveling with a priest, my September cruise on Celebrity will be my last...at least for the foreseeable future.  It is an 11 day Alaska and I pray there is a priest on board.  I will just stick to all inclusive for the Caribbean because then we can make sure that we make it to Mass.  Sujac - I used to be from the Arlington Diocese, love it!

I just couldn't believe that they wouldn't budge when I was willing to pay! I was told they didn't want to offend anyone. Ummmm ok, I'm a little offended by that statement. There are gatherings for every other group under the sun onboard.

  4. I agree with all of the above. I have gone so far as to ask Celebrity if I brought my own priest would they be willing to waive the the 200% cruise fare, so I would only have to pay for one. Anybody want guess what their answer was?🙃

  5. I was in a RS on Summit 2 weeks ago and requested to dine in for dinner one evening (Tuscan), I requested this on embarkation day and told the suite manager I was flexible on the day, any night would be fine. I was denied this request and told they no longer offer this to RS and PH. I was also in RS a few months ago and was able to have Tuscan in the suite, no problem. Maybe I should have asked the butler instead 😉

  6. We are booked in a RS for a cruise on Summit, leaving next Sunday. Haven’t heard from the shoreside concierge yet. In previous years we heard from her several weeks out. Has anyone had recent experience with the Summit shoreside concierge? How far in advance did you hear?

    Thanks!

I am also in a RS on 8/26 and haven’t heard from Jaimie yet either. The ship is completely sold out, so I expect she’s swamped. I plan to call tomorrow.

So looking forward to the sailing!!

  7. The last time our family of four were in RS, we had a rollaway bed brought in. It was brought in at the evening turn down service and removed in the morning. We found that worked very well. However, we were not two couples travelling. I can see the pros of both, but with the enhanced luggage and embarkation procedures (for RS & PH) along with the unlimited speciality dining and other perks, I would be inclined to go with RS.

  8. I will be sailing on the Eclipse out of Miami end of November. What time do I have to book my flight home to take advantage of this service? Thank you!

I had an 11:15 AM flight booked and my bags made it to DC before me!

  9. This is from the Celebrity website, I have had the opportunity to do each of these separately and I think it was well worth it. The below tour is offered on at sea days and the cost is $99. It takes about 2-2.5 hours. You can book in advance.

  10. Why have so many potential advocates gone quiet??

    How was the interview?

    Anyone get hired?

Maybe they were sworn to secrecy.

For me, quiet because I haven't heard anything yet. They said I would hear in 7-10 days. The sign up doc I received showed interviews for Sunday/Monday/Tuesday (8/9-8/11) so, I didn't expect to hear anything before today (7 days from last interview). The interview was longer than I expected -40 minutes and was mostly Celebriity brand questions and a mock chat with a potential cruiser. No personal questions and no talk of expectations or compensation.

We'll see. I have no idea what they are looking for and I know so little about it, I'm not sure I even want to pursue it if I hear back.

  11. Why not just delete? Or set a filter to block those messages? Probably takes a lot less time than phoning.

I've been deleting them, but the emails are coming from a generic celebrity email address so I am hesitant to block it.

  12. Every day for the last week I have received this same email;

I have called and emailed to no avail. Totally annoyng, not to mention the invite to join CC when I am already Elite.

  13. Hi All--we are Suzanne & Jack from Arlington, VA, traveling with our children John & Eileen. We just booked this cruise today. We have Summit booked in Oct. & Reflection booked for New Years so when I booked Caribbean (again)for March 2016, my husband said "no more Caribbean for a while!" So I went a little crazy and booked this cruise and Antartica (Feb 2017)

We have been to Australia twice but never to the South Pacific. Fiji has always been on my bucket list, so I'm really looking forward to this cruise.

I added our names to the spreadsheet--hope I did it correctly ;)
