My daughter and I will be spending a few days in Rome next May prior to getting on a NCL cruise.  Can anyone recommend shuttle companies that would pick up at the airport and take us to the convent we will be staying in.  We are also looking for shared shuttles that would take us to the cruise port from Rome.  (ship leaves from Civatecchia)

My daughter and I are booked on a NCL cruise next May which departs from Rome.  Can anyone recommend any hotels for pre-departure? We anticipate flying into Rome  a few days before the trip departs, in order that we can spend at least 1 full day in Rome seeing some of the highlights of the city. Don't anticipate spending much time at the hotel, but want it to be in a safe area and fulfilling basic needs.  First trip to Europe for my daughter, so want to make this a good experience for her.

I'm thinking that we might want to go back to the cruise ship, freshen up, and then walk around Havana that evening.

Due to cost, we're not looking at the Tropicana show or the other one always advertised. Are there any specific bars or spots where 2 women would feel comfortable stopping for a drink, and listening to some music?

Does anyone have recommendations for a place that we could easily find by foot, for either meal? we are not looking for something terribly expensive, just the opportunity to try some Cuban food to add to our experience.

My daughter and I will be using Blexie as well, what is considered an appropriate tip?

For those who have set up this tour with Blexie, is it expected that if my daughter and I go to lunch during the tour, our tour guide and driver also need to be included in that lunch or would they wait for us? Have not taken private tours of this kind for this length, and want to do the right thing.

am also trying to determine the total cost of what a tour like this would cost overall, beyond the tour charge.

Can someone who has taken this cruise recently, let me know what time you were to get on board? The ship departs out of Miami at 5pm. Working on setting up a shuttle pickup from hotel in Ft. Lauderdale down to the cruise ship in Miami. I've taken that shuttle before, but I believe the previous trip left Miami at 4pm rather than 5. Enjoy getting on the ship earlier, so as to have lunch, etc.

Does it make more sense to bring euros with us, for exchange in Cuba? This would eliminate the 10% penalty we would encounter with US dollars, correct? Or with the exchange rate being what it is, are we still better off dealing with dollars exchanged into cuc

Is it possible to head into Havana and back to the ship as many times as we want, while the ship is in port?

Are the costs for Great Stirrup Cay, such as drinks or the new buffet, covered by the cost of the cruise ticket?

Haven't been on one of these islands before during cruises, so debating whether to head to the island, or just stay on board ship that day.

Do they provide us with the visa card prior to the trip, or do we receive it upon check in?

My mom and I are visiting Halifax and St. John's on the 4th and 5th of June. Not sure what level of warmth to pack, am thinking it won't be very warm yet, but have no idea. Not concerned about what to pack for the cruise ship, as it's our 4th cruise, but we always explore our ports, and want to avoid over packing items we will never pull out of the suitcase. 3 years ago we cruised to Alaska in June, and found beautiful warmer days which were not expected. So any advice would be appreciated! thank you

My daughter and I booked a Carnival Cruise last month, and due to it being only 60 days before the trip, could only accept late dinner dining. 8 pm I believe.

We are used to cruising on NCL, and love the free style dining. Is there any chance that this late evening dining time could be changed once we arrive on the boat? we are not late dinner diners in general, really like eating when we want to.

Any suggestions? We booked Carnival for a change, as my son in law really likes it, and NCL wasn't offering alot of different locations for the time we wanted to go. Thanks!

trying to determine which Luau in Oahu would be the best to go to, my mom and I are spending a few days post POA cruise in Honolulu.

My mom and I were originally scheduled to take a group tour on the Road to Hana. Plans have now changed, and I need advice.

A former student of my mom's lives on Maui, and wants to drive us around herself. Problem-she doesn't have her own car.

We are wiling to rent a car for the day, but have no idea how close to the port our ship will be docked. We are on Norwegian's Pride of America.

Have no idea of how much time it will take to rent the car, how far we need to walk etc to the car rental.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated!

If you accept the bonus offer of a pre night stay at the Marriott Waikiki from NCL for the POA, does that offer also include the cost of a shuttle to the pier the next morning>

Also trying to find out how early one can arrive at the pier to check in, since the POA doesn't depart until 7pm.
