Anyone ever seen or used taxis in Skagway? I'm not much for tours, but I want to hike the trails outside of town. Looking for a taxi to take me out 10 miles out of town so I can hike back in.

budget queen and Yukon! I will check on all that.
Since you all sound quite knowledgeable about Skagway, do you have any opinions about Sockeye Cycle? Do they do any "rigorous" riding tours? I'm not interested in coasting down from the White Pass summit for $80.
