Is anyone aware of a post cruise hotel on Galveston Island that accommodates early check in from cruise ships?

Our situation: We are trying to kill a day as we fly out at 7:30pm Monday. We have two 5 year olds and need a pool for entertainment.

We have roughly 12 hours to fill in Houston. We have an evening flight on a Monday in April. We will have our 5 year old twins in tow and are looking for ideas to fill the day. Last year we stayed at a hotel but weather was so cool/crummy that outdoor swimming wasn’t really an option. 
 

We could do the City Pass and hit NASA and a Zoo, that’s an option. 
 

Does anyone know of a great indoor swimming pool at a hotel or park that would be an option?
 

Seems like too much time on our feet to hit a bunch of attractions.

Are there any hotels in the Galveston area that offer a shuttle from the IAH airport?

My wife and I really enjoyed letting our 4 year old twins do their own dinner with the kids club on our last Royal Caribbean cruise. I was wondering if MSC has a similar program? I see something about taking them a few minutes into dinner, but anything where they go have their own dinner with kids and then head to activities?

We wound up using hotelsbyday.com and stayed at the Sheraton close to IAH. Worked out great for us, pool and hot tub, nice staff. Highly reccomend. 

Anyone know of hotels in the vicinity of IAH that have a great pool for kids and/or a day rate available? Have a full day to kill post cruise.

I will be disembarking in Galveston on a Sunday morning with my wife and twin 4 year olds and we are looking for ideas to fill the day. Our flight isn't until 7:25 PM. That leaves us roughly 8 hours to fill. Curious if anyone has suggestions for Galveston or Houston area?

Except we are not going from the airport to the ship, we are staying at a hotel for the night.

 We are traveling with our twin four-year-olds and are trying to figure out how to get from the airport to our hotel near Galveston. My first thought was an Uber, until I realized we would not have car seats. What have other people done in this situation?

I assume this is St. Thomas. We have used Captain Nautica a couple of times and it was a great experience. However, I don't know if they pick up near Crown Bay. We were at Havensite when we used them.

I did!! it was totally worth it, probably less for the credit than it was for being able to give feedback to Celebrity and thinking they may actually "hear" you. It was really easy and enjoyable and I highly recommend it.

I received an invitation to take an on board 30-60min survey during my cruise. In exchange I will receive $25 in on board credit.

Anyone ever done this? Might do it for an easy 30mins, but is it something different? Time-share like?
