  1. We are sailing on Holland on southbound cruise after land tour in Fairbanks , Denali and anchorage , need help with advice , wii be in Haines on June 6 th , all tours there appear as if they need salmon to be in rivers so bear and eagles would be around ??? Any trips in Haines that you recommend or husband is interested in train in Skagway ? Will the White pass RR be any different than the train ride from Denali to Seward??? Please let me know what you have done and recommend. Would love to see wildlife too !

  2. Has anyone rented a car in Haines and have recommendations on where to go or what to do? There are three of us , one person is 83 and can not walk long distances . Would like to see wildlife but what are we likely to see - June 6 th trip on Holland America

  3. We once booked a full day excursion through NCL in November for around $109 - whatever you do, don't take a tour - no need, and wastes valuable time. We ditched and headed towards the lockers. This was a full day excursion, we arrived before 9, and left around 3 or so. The ship excursion prices are fluid, changing all of the time.

MjkAcmom, thanks for input, it's just me and DH , we're excited to check out Atlantis , I've read what you and others say !!!" No tour needed" how were lines when you were there

  4. I see RCCL tickets to Atlantis are now 149.00 for your and 5 hours there ? And 109$ without tour and 6 hours there, why would one book a hotel ? Sounds like a price drop, has any one gone recently ? How's the weather in November there?

  5. I'm wondering if anyone has done the Xplor trip to the main land and what are your opinions looking for active - fun trip , or chucknaab??? Help please , would like to take hubby ziplinning!

  6. You are just a few doors down from where we were. I liked the location though we were further from the aft elevators than I thought from looking at the deck plans. There was very little movement even when it was kind of rough though my sister said she woke up and the ship was rocking and rolling that last night when the cold front went through. I slept right through it:)

I do not have pictures but really liked the room -- large sofa and plenty of storage for all your things. As someone pointed out before we left, there is storage in the corner of the bathroom behind the mirror and on either side of the mirror over the desk. One thing I found extremely helpful was magnetic hooks. We hung up swimsuits, compasses, etc.. The balcony was not huge but a good size with 2 chairs and a small table. I took clothespins to fasten towels to the plastic straps of the chair so they would dry faster. If you have any other questions I will try to answer them.[/quote

Thanks for the update , we're so excited and counting down 😎
