My husband and boys played a lot of ping pong this summer on the Harmony! He thinks there were 6, but says all but one of them had solid metal nets.

I would love to hear more about the 2 bedroom grande suite as well. I was looking at that option on the Symphony. Thanks!!

YUM! First day we had:
Cucumber Fizz
Red Velvet Cake
Green Goddess
Pomegranate Sidecar
Pure Passion
Second day we had:
Hummingbird
Cucumber Viper
Peach Basil (with muddled jalapeño)
Caramel
Tie me to the bedpost 😂
Now I really wish I had one!

Cost for me on Harmony in October was $19.95 + 18% tip and it was held in the Wonderland bar. As mentioned above, they serve mini versions of 5 martinis then at the end let us choose our favorite and gave us one full size martini. The bartender was also good about demonstrating variations on request by adding a little extra olive juice to the dirty martini after you tasted the regular version or a splash of extra cranberry juice to the Cosmopolitan for a different taste. There was lots of lively discussion during the class.
We had about 8 guests and two bartenders. I suppose the quality of the class would depend on the quality of your bartender(s). Ours was great!
Was Sahoo still the bartender on Harmony? We loved him. My favorite was the Peach Jalapeño! I wish I had one now

We did the martini class on Harmony this summer. I thought it was definitely worth the money! We had 5 different martinis (smaller versions, but still quite a bit). It was a lot of fun. In fact, I went back again the next sea day and saw quite a few faces from the Wednesday class.

We went to the Martini class on Harmony this summer. We loved it! In fact, I loved it so much I went twice! Who is the Wonderland bartender on Symphony? Sahoo was on Harmony and he was so much fun.
Thanks for the live review, really wanting to book Symphony soon.

Loving the review! We were on Harmony in July and I'm really missing it! One of my favorite things was the martini class in Wonderland on sea days. Sahoo was the best (as was his peach basil jalapeño martini). Have fun!!

Wonderland also does martini classes in the afternoons on sea days. Watch the cruise compass. It was a blast. We did it three times.
I agree, I went to the martini class twice. So much fun!

We just left the Harmony on Saturday. We took our own bags off around 7:30, there were no lines at all. We were checked in at the airport and waiting for our flight at 9:00. No lines, no waiting! I had mobile passport all set up, but for some reason it kept giving me an error message so we just went through using our passports (again, no line at all). Have a great time. I'm already having withdrawals!

We just got off yesterday and couldn't believe how quiet the Solarium was. Easy to get seats at almost any time--huge difference from Anthem last year where it was virtually impossible to ever get even one seat.
Enjoy--and go to Wonderland Bar!
I second both of these comments! Solarium was almost always empty, and my husband and older boys loved Stacey the bartender there. Wonderland Bar was my favorite! If you have time, do the martini class with Sahoo. We liked it so much we went twice last week. Tell Sahoo that the girls that loved his Peach Basil Jalapeño martini said hi!:)

I'm hoping to get a bungalow as well. We leave on the Harmony on Saturday. By the time we booked the cruise in May, all of the cabanas and bungalows were sold out.
Where do I go to sign up to get on the waiting list?

Yes, but this is assuming that she had confirmed vacation time already scheduled and approved by her boss. If she was just assuming she'd be able to get the time off and then as it turned out she couldn't, that is on her, unfortunately.
It's been on the calendar at work since May

Her boss or company should refund her for her cancelled trip.
I agree! Especially since we paid for the trip (family trip to celebrate my middle son's 21st birthday)
-
Thanks! I knew this group would be able to help. Now if one of you could just call her boss........;)
-
Thanks, we are just sick about it, obviously! I wish they would offer some on board credit or something. Keeping our fingers crossed that she gets it worked out and can go.

So, my daughter-in-law may not be able to go with us when we leave for our Harmony cruise this week! (work issues) I know the trip is non-refundable. My questions are: has this happened to anyone before and they worked something out with you? Do you have to let Royal know ahead of time? Could we "replace her" with someone else for the cruise? I am going to call them, just thought I'd ask here first and see if anyone had any advice... Thanks all!

I just looked and it is there. In your Cruise Planner click on "Shore Excursions" and then "Labadee, Haiti". Right now it is $263.00, but there is not an "ADD TO CART" button. It just says "CHECK ONBOARD". Are you on the Harmony Western, July 21?
I believe you could call and see what the status is or check with the excursion desk as soon as you board.
Jim
Thanks, I see it now. Hopefully it will be available :)

This is really a great review. We have a Columbus Cove bungalow reserved for our July 21 Harmony cruise. Prices have ranged from $236.00-$263.00 and they change A LOT!! Currently they are "book onboard only". I booked ours through the Cruise Planner back in December. We have 6 in our party and were told 6 is the limit.
We are also doing the Jet Skis.
The more we see in these reviews, the more excited we all get.
Jim and Peg
I've looked all over Royal Caribbean in the cruise planner option for this! Do you think it's not showing up because they are all booked? We are also on the July 21 sailing.
Thanks!

What a thread! I've had fun reading all 78 pages over the last few days. We, too, we originally thinking about the Oasis but have decided to sail on the Freedom on May 30, 2010. We have sailed the Mariner twice and loved it. Looking forward to the next few months of planning and then the trip. Thanks for all the great info and pictures.

I second the martini class recommendation! We liked it so much we went twice!
