  1. I've search and found lots of great links and information about what ship is in what port on what day and what other ships are in the same port--very helpful.

My question though is when there is more than one dock/pier in a port I can't seem to find which one my ship is using. It's not on RCCL's website--as far as I can tell . And my TA say she doesn't have access to that information.

Anyone have ideas about where to get this information?

    Thanks!

  2. I am sailing on the Freedom in 5 days about 6 weeks ago I called Royal Caribbean as we have 12 Adults travelling together all our reservations are linked and I had no problems booking Chops, Giovannis and Sabor for parties of 12 for dinner. Good luck and I would definitely call.

Thanks. I tried calling and was told the only way to adjust it is to contact Chops onboard. I have sent an email to addresses Julesbeara provided. Hopefully I'll have some luck that way.

    Have a great cruise!!

  3. What is your sailing date? I'm sailing on Adventure March 18-25 and although Chops is listed on the RCCL website as being available as of March 4th it is still not listed in my cruise planner.

We are booked on the March 29, 2017 sailing. Chops is on the cruise planner but it won't let me book for more than my cabin.

No word back from the concierge yet.

  4. So, I've tried to search for the answer to my question without success. I know this has been discussed but I just can't find it.

Here goes: Chops reservations are now available to book for my cruise at the end of the month (March) on Adventure of the Seas. They limit reservations to ten people. What's the best way to get a reservation for 12 people (if it's possible at all) in advance? If it helps at all we're Diamond and will be in a suite. None of the others are, but we are planning to book and pay for the whole group. We booked through a TA, any chance they could make it happen?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. I've used the one in the link provided by Mary521 and many others from the Dollar Store, Target, etc. as others have said there is plenty of storage but the benefit of the shoe hanger is that everything is in one place and you can readily see it all. Haven't traveled with kids in my cabin but I'd think it would help keep everything, well, organized.

  6. There is also a chocolate restaurant in OSJ. Everything on the menu has chocolate involved in it somehow. It's called casa Cortez chocolate bar. Was a must do for us.

I've only heard talk of this. Would love to try it!!

  7. Really??? I would be offended if I were a steward and you wanted to give me money for my shore time! These people are grown-ups! With families, bank accounts, bills and a job. This would be like giving little Johnny money for his big trip to the dime store! Just tip them at the end and they will be happy.

I guess that's where we disagree. I've done it many times and it didn't seem to cause offense. I get your point about not treating stewards as children, you're quite right, but often the steward is young enough to be my (adult) son, and a bit of cash as a thoughtful gesture before they go ashore is just that, a way to express my gratitude. To each their own.
