  1. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to download the full list of excursions from within my booking? Or maybe the excursions are available someplace else on the Celebrity site. I am trying to share excursions with our friends who are considering joining us on the Alaska Tracy Arm Solstice ship next year.

    Thanks

On the main menu, click on MENU in the upper left corner, then click on Shore Excursions from the drop down box. Select Shore Excursion Brochure from the next drop down box. You will then be able to enter you sailing date information, hit Select Brochure and the Excursion Brochure will pop up. You can look at it online, save it or print it.

    Enjoy!

  2. Hi Amnorto :)

What my wife & I have to do/pack on every sailing for the past 33 years now might be considered a little outside of the box.

We must always bring a cruise journal along & prior to going to sleep each evening we discuss the days events of everything we did, people & names that we met & so on, and log it all down in the journal.

We have been doing this for over three decades now and have many journals.

When reading through the journals, the strolls down memory lane are so wonderful. In some ways more entertaining than the photo's or video we have collected over the years.

Even picking out/purchasing the journal prior to the cruise has become a fun task in itself.

To us, it is another way, an interesting way, to save & also relive the voyage...

Have a terrific day! Happy sailing!

What a wonderful idea and one I am going to definitely do on our next cruise! Might even have to go back and record our memories from our last few cruises! Thanks for the idea!

  3. Yes, it is $90 per person. It is a Flash Sale (that is what it is called on my receipt) called Specialty Restaurant Trio. I happened to see it when I went into my account, so I booked it. We were going to do a couple nights in specialty dining anyway, so the lunch is a bonus to us. I still see it listed in the dining section for our cruise, so check it our soon if you think you might want it. Not sure how long it will last.

  4. I would just say check out the menu for Sushi on 5. It is not just raw fish! The pricing is a la carte and we shared several dishes...the chicken dumplings and the shrimp tempura roll. The ramen bowls are also great. I think lots of people just see the word “sushi” and don’t look any further.

I agree. We have had two great meals (Solstice and Equinox) at Sushi on 5 and it wasn't all raw fish!

  5. Twisted Fish in Juneau had some tasty salmon and Skagway Fish Company had the most incredible halibut fish and chips I have ever eaten! Our next Alaska cruise will include Skagway just to eat there again!

  6. So here’s what I got. I Tried pricing out celebrity equinox on 8/25. All pages leading up to booking listed the verandah room at $1,399 (with a note that price reflects discounts). Got to the final booking page and the price jumped up to $1,499 BUT before it got to the total price they applied a $200 discount. So price was $1,399 after discount. Could this be what you are seeing?

Winner, Winner!! It is the military discount we received. When I picked the cabin, because I indicated Military discount at the very beggining of the reservation, the military discounted rate is what must be diplayed when the cabin is selected. The full cabin fare is shown on the summary sheet at the end, but I didn't realize I had to subtract the discount from the full fare to get the quoted rate. Whew! Thanks for figuring out my cruise fare!

    Happy cruising to you all.

  7. I'm sure the answer is simple to this, but I just can't figure it out!

When I go online to book a cabin, I select the cabin I want and it indicates a price. Let's just say $2,009 for that particular cabin. I then go through all the other steps of booking the cabin and choose the beverage package and gratuities as my two free perks. No other perks are selected and travel insurance is checked "No thanks". When I get to the price summary page it now lists the cabin price at $2,349. Why does the price go up by $340? The free perks and taxes are listed separately, so I just can't figure out why the cabin price goes up. Anyone know??

    Thanks in advance!

  8. Could anyone recommend a great dive shop operator that accommodates Cruise Ship passengers.

    Thanks and Cruise On.

We just got back this week and went diving in Bonaire for the first time ever. We used VIP Diving and they were fantastic. They have a great facility that is close to the ship. We did two dives and got a quick tour of the island after. Our instructor, Eric, was so patient and really gave me confidence as a first time diver. There were plenty of experienced divers there also and everyone came with smiles on their faces and said the diving was great.

  9. Thanks so much for posting the MDR menus. We are going on the same cruise in October and I want to book just a couple nights of specialty dining. The menus really help get an idea of what we will be missing....or help decide what we won't miss too much. LOL! Keep the great updates coming and keep having fun!!!

  10. The points are yours regardless of how old you were when you cruised or who paid for the cruise. If Royal does not have the history of your cruises any longer in their records, they will ask you for proof that you were on the cruises. They will ask for any paperwork that you hopefully have from the cruises such as boarding passes, itineraries and even photos with the ship's name. In 2015, I was able to get credit for the two 14 night cruises I went on with my family when I was a kid in 1975 and 1977. I was very fortunate to have kept all the daily itinerary/activity sheets and best of all, the passenger logs they used to provide that listed all the passengers on the ship and where they were from! Royal was very helpful, so give them a call and see if they can help you.

  11. I absolutely LOVE the Crepe Ballon Rouge in Murano. It's a crepe covering vanilla ice cream, covered with sauteed strawberries in balsamic.

    I'm drooling thinking about it!

I agree, this dessert was amazing!
