For us, FTTF is worth every penny! It was great on Dream and we have it booked on 2 out of 3 of our next cruises. The 3rd cruise hasn't posted shore excursions yet, but I hope to grab FTTF right away.

My next has not posted excursions yet either! Anyone know when they usually post them? We are about 10 months away from sailing. I definitely think FTTF is worth every penny and want to make sure we get it!

My parents like to visit buffets, and we don't like them.... my husband keeps talking about the "yella". That's from Vegas Vacation, where they go to the 99 cent buffet and get questionable food. He thinks it's going to be like that. I'm sure he'll be pleasantly surprised. ;)

You don't "have" to eat at the buffet. The dining room is open for breakfast everyday and I believe for lunch as well. Our first cruise last month we only ate at the buffet 2 times.

As far as looking like a "newbie" we saw many who wore their S&S on a lanyard, anywhere from blue(1st timers) to platinum on our first cruise on Carnival Magic last month. I was really glad to have mine on a lanyard, it was nice to have it close and not have to worry about it falling from a pocket. I say do what ever you want. It's your vacation after all!!
