  1. Hi y'all! It looks like the ship is filling up for the Nov. 27 cruise! My husband and I look forward to spending a lot of time in the Maderna (sp?) spa but are curious about the Vibe passes. Are they worth the expense in terms of finding outdoor spaces to hang without kids running around? Or is it more of a drunken party scene? 

  2. We enjoyed the food at Margaritaville last week but the service was terrible. Didn't mind paying the al la cart prices...the fries were delish!

     

    What folks have been saying about the terrible service there is true, so expect that if you go. We went for lunch on a port day and the place was practically empty so we surprised to have had a poor experience. Our server was upset that I wanted to order an appetizer before I ordered my meal and never returned to our table. Plus, we had a language barrier. Another server finally took pity on us and took our lunch order. We saw several tables wait 20+ minutes for a server to greet them.

  3. The dinner reservation is made for up to 8 people. There aren't names associated with it, other than the person booking. It will say "Joe Blow, Party of 6" or whatever. It doesn't know or care who those people are. They can be people you haven't even met.

     

    Regarding shows... Bookings opened for me to book my Escape stuff today, but no shows are available to book. If you use Getaway as an example, the shows were 2 times per night, either 2, 3, or 4 times per cruise, depending on which show. Since 2 of the shows on Escape share the same theater, they obviously won't be every night.

    Hi! For the folks able to begin making dinner/show reservations on the escape, is there anything special you needed to do for your early access? Thanks! Jen

  4. We are first-time cruisers and recently tried to change our amenity from the free Internet package to the ultimate beverage package and found that we would have to cancel our reservation and rebook at the current room rate. We would lose quite a bit of money doing that.

     

    We're disappointed that NCL would not just allow us to change to another option, since they are both promotions being offered at this time. Does anyone know why this is a problem for us?
