Our TA is having issues getting this done. If someone has been successful in getting the FCC, I would like to know how they did it.

Has anyone successfully used the $500 per person FCC Oceania gave for the missed port (Saguenay) September 26, 2023?

Does anyone know who the current barista is on the Marina? We are hoping Max has returned.

I noticed on the two cruises I was going to book today the upper cabins were sold out before the 09:00 est they were opening for bookings. I thought the time was 09:00 est. I saw that by 08:15 est the top 25 cabins were sold out. Assuming it was IT issues

We are both. Oceania platinum and Amex platinum. And you sometimes get the $250 and sometimes not if you have AMEX Platinum benefits.

We just tried to book a new cruise, utilizing the special 10% offer for Oceania club members. We learned that you do not get the discount that comes with a FCD in this case. Also, you do not receive your Amex platinum benefit either. You also do not get signature promo free gratuities. Can not combine promotions. Penalized being platinum it appears.

We saw ours on our account. I assumed it would be refunded to our credit card. Was that a bad assumption?

Has anyone on the Riviera March 18 cruise received their Bermuda travel authorization refund?
It was supposed to be refundable OBC but we haven’t seen ours.

Jonthomas, Our team was the left brainers. We still have 2 members stranded in London and one in Barcelona. The one in Barcelona is asymptomatic but still testing positive. Trying to figure out how to get him home. We were all vaccinated and boostered and had tested negative before getting on ship.
-
Maybe you had to show yours in checking in. We did not.

I had posted earlier that 3 of our group of 12 had tested positive shortly after disembarking from the Riviera in Barcelona. That number is now 8 of the 12. Our entire trivia team. We have people stranded in Barcelona and London, having flown to London because they had a negative test leaving the ship. Maybe those wooden pencils did allow the virus to spread. We did not do excursions. One took a cooking class. One took an art class. I do not believe the Covid protocol on the ship was adequate. I love Oceania but I am miserable right now, suffering from Covid even though I am vaccinated and boostered. By the way, I never had to prove I was vaccinated or that I had tested negative in boarding the ship although I was both vaccinated and negative.
-
It also might have something to do with the fact that people on board are getting COVID as well as people testing positive the day after disembarking the ship. Ship in point is the Riviera. Out of our group of 12, 3 people tested positive the day after getting off the ship. Requiring masks at all times might have made a difference.

My husband and I are on the October 2 cruise from Malta with the renewed stop in Montenegro. We booked our own air with BA with a transit stop in Heathrow. Even though the GOV.UK site says transit passengers that have been in a red country can transit through heathrow if they do not leave the secured area, the passenger locator form makes it look like we can not do that? Does anyone have any better information or suggestions? It will have been 8 days between the kotor stop and flight home.

Has anyone seen any indication that Oceania has facilities to do on board COVID testing similar to what Viking is doing? I believe a negative test would be needed to return to the US. I would prefer to have that in hand when departing from the ship.

I am requesting my flight info for cruise this October. Oceania reply to travel agent:New policies with air. Because schedules change and are revised so often, Oceania does not assign air until 75 days prior to the sail date. Not getting any more info from Oceania, I guess there is no air deviation allowed
the way I am used to using.

Has anyone heard of the new air policy . Oceania will not assign air beyond 75 days out. Regardless of air deviation. Because schedules change and are revised so often.

We’ve done the volunteer point tour twice with Patrick. Great tours. Highlight of cruise!!

Does anyone know who the current barista is on the riviera?

We have done TAs on both Regent and Oceania. Prefer Oceania although the upcoming diminishing of loyalty perks is not sitting well.

Has anyone had any issues regarding the free cruise (your 20th cruise credit)? I am being told that I can't apply for my free cruise until I complete my 19th. I understand that I need to have taken my 19 cruises prior to the free cruise but considering the fact that we usually take 3 oceania cruises a year, that means final payment on the cruise would be due before I get the 19th credit.
-
We had the same experience with Regent. Apparently, we got such a special price that we could not claim our stockholder benefit. What upsets me more though is the fact that for the last two years, NCL has changed the wording on their stockholder benefit to only include cruises booked that current year. We book farther in advance and are being told we can not get our stockholder benefit because of that.

I'm wondering why no transatlantics are showing for fall of 2019?

We recently did the TA on the RIviera and very much enjoyed the production numbers especially 'World Beat'. The kids were great! We also saw the same performers on our November TA and would love to see them all again.

Try Oceania. Excellent food in MDR, buffet and specialty restaurants with no additional charge.
