  1. Hi.

We bought insurance and cruise in OCtober and set sail late September. My dad who is 80 is in very poor health could die and may need my care.  What extent of “serious illness” by him would allow for full cancellation. I doubt I’d be able to use the 75% off future cruise as my mom is quite ill as well

I don’t want to call if I can get a general answer from here. It is best not to warn insurance companies you might file a claim.

  2. Now I can't get into online checkin. Says my reservation is being modified. I had started online checkin earlier but had to go back in and put passport numbers. Sail date September 16. Is this normal? I heard the horror stories of cruises being cancelled when cancelling something in cruise planner. Now I am scared. The cruise is still showing on my dash board but just can't get into it. Booked with a travel agent.

  3. hi. I would like to order Voom for husband and me. Is this 2 device package but only check 1 name. When I check both names it charges 15.99 per day each. That can’t be right because it’s more than buying separately for each

    Thanks for your help

  4. I am thinking about booking a central park view (with window not balcony) and have a question about Cabin 9615. Has anyone had that cabin? I am particularly worried about noise from Dazzles? I want to be closer to elevator and could get room 9639 but 9615 is farther from Dazzles. My main concerns are getting to everything easily and less noisy, but I am willing to sacrifice noise for larger state room. Supposedly this is more square footage than a regular interior and even more than a balcony cabin, but much less than a balcony.

  5. You can lead a horse to water but...

Ok, moderator, can you just delete this whole thread.

I obviously was not "ripped off." I was supposed to know as a first time Nextcruise booker what the invoice was supposed to look like. And having looked back over it, I think the problem occured with the agent who booked it not putting it on there. And there was something at end explaining how OBC works and how much you get for length of cruise, but the line is actually blank on the invoice.

And I am not stupid, not a horse, you are a rude person. (and that is using huge restraint as to what I really think, many explatives) I have just not cruised a million times. And yes, the rep on the RCI ship who had probably signed up tons of people should have added the OBC correctly.

And yes, I have contacted my travel agent and am awaiting a response.\

And I do regret using rip-off which may be reason I got a few nasty responses, but did not see how to edit the subject.

  6. If it is not listed on the invoice, it was never put onto your reservation.

Have TA contact RCI and explain it was booked onboard, and the $100 OBC was missed.

But bottom line, YOU should have checked the invoice when you booked. There is clearly a line for OBC.

I did not know that. And yes. First and only time booking on board. It did have something at end with the obc you get for each number of days
