I just did the Baltic with VerizonwWreless I would recommend setting up the Wi-Fi calling also. It worked well.

We just did Copenhagen twice while B2B on the MSC Poesia. We did several HOHO buses and canals while on the cruise. Stromma and another. Both were good. I only wanted to add that the Poesia docked about 30min from city center. NCL Getaway and Costa Favalousa also docked there. MSC ran a shuttle for about 14euro a person. The HOHO buses were also there to pick up and drop off at the ship.

Does anyone know the current theme night schedule for the Poesia in the Baltic?
TIA

Hello All,
Not a lot of info on this ship or itinerary. Any help would be appreciated. We are boarding in Warnemunde, then off to Norway, stopping back in Warnemunde before heading East to St. Petersburg, it is a B2b.
Thanks,

We are doing Poesia from Hamburg in July 2018. Never done it before, but looks fun.

We stayed in 12260 last summer. Best cabin ever!!! No cons, pro's were close elevators, wrap around balcony, minibar, large bathroom, the extra space provided by the room hallway, lots of windows. We did not order drinks, but the steward kept the mini fridge well stocked with liquor and beer.

Does anyone have opinion on either ship for Northern Europe?
Thanks,

Hello All,
We love MSC and decided to do Northern Europe next year. How does the multi-embarkation ports work? I do not want to have muster drills in each port.
Thanks.

Per the MSC Condition of Carriage, "
13.1 Alcoholic drinks, including wines, spirits, beer or other liqueurs are available for purchase onboard the Vessel at fixed prices. Passengers are not permitted to bring onboard any such drinks for use during the voyage, whether for consumption in their own cabins or otherwise. Alcoholic drinks in any form will not be sold to Minors during the cruise. When the itinerary includes a port located in the U.S.A the same conditions will apply for any passengers under the age 21."
What about European cruises?

Help Me.
We are cruising the Baltic next summer embarking from Warnmunde, GE. Is it better to fly into Berlin or Hamburg. Hamburg is closer, but Berlin is bigger. Seconding, how do we get from the airport to port from either airport?
Thank you, I might panic, but CruiseCritic has always had the answers I need.

We just booked the MSC Poesia out of Warnemunde, Germany for 14 days in July of 2019. I look forward to everyone's excursion ideas and tips.

We just got off the Seaside on July 14th. We loved it. Most of the youtube videos are from the initial sailings. MSC has been very aggressive about addressing these concerns. In fact MSC hosts a wonderful CruiseCritic meet & greet with the Captain and all senior officers. A cake, snack (chocolate covered strawberries etc.) and cocktails are provided.
We had a very small room issue and the next day the Director of Housekeeping, Hotel Director, and other staff personnally visited the room to correct the issue. The issue involved the window coverings being slightly short allowing in morning sun.
Lunch buffett was nicely varied including pasta, Mexican, Ethnic, and more. Overall the food was good and service was great.
We did not attend any shows, not really our thing. The lounge acts were good and the Cruise Director and staff did a great job.
This was our second MSC cruise, did the Divina in 2016. We booked the Posesia for next year in northern Europe.
Hope this helps,

Has anyone done the MSC Poesia to Northern Europe? If so, your thoughts?
Thanks.

Thanks, I was hoping to gloat, but I may use some creative license in my office review.
Warnemunde ground transportation?
in Northern Europe & Baltic Sea

There were several direct trains from Rostock to Warnemunde. The ship is an easy walk minus the stairs. It is possible to walk around the stairs, but it adds about 300 meters to the walk.
