I had two cabins midship C421/C423 and barely felt any vibration in either cabin. My wife is very sensitive to motion, and therefore we don't take any chances on aft or forward cabins. She indicated that she was least impacted on this cruise compared to others.

 

We were also on the balconies of L721 for Venice sailaway (thank you Don!) and we could barely feel any vibration for the journey out of the Guiddecca canal (albeit I'm reasonably sure we weren't full thrust).

What were your thoughts on suite L721 overall?

The side balcony had 2 chairs and a table which I had moved to the rear as the rear balcony only had 1 lounge in it! Some of the other aft suites had pool lounges brought to make a set.

Agree with your thought process to move the table and chairs to the rear balcony which appears to be covered vs the side balcony.

Good evening from Naples and the beautiful Amalfi coast. As it turns out L721 is the Amalfi suite. We ate on the balcony tonight as we were a little tired of the Pompei walking. I was very disappointed that after having a $1200 all inclusive package that I was charged $10 for 2 diet cokes and 2 waters as room service does not recognize the package? A little strange as I could go out and bring back a 12 pack of each with no problem at all. Oh well when in Rome...... BTW tomorrow we visit Rome. I will get some pictures of the bathroom tomorrow.

It sounds like you're having a wonderful cruise; I appreciate your eyes and ears regarding the cruise and the new L721 suite!! I look forward to the bathroom photos!

What is the turnaround time on the laundry and dry cleaning service? The unlimited service for suite guests will be "sweet" as I can pack less!! lol.

Actually live from a lounge chair poolside. The ship is in fabulous shape. We are in the new Penthouse L721 and the suite is unique to Princess and beautiful. The side balcony is 28 ft long and the rear balcony is spacious. While there are some issues like only one piece of furniture in the rear balcony, no DVD player or VOD, no spa tub we still are really enjoying the suite and would recommend it. Of course there is some vibration but not any more than any other aft room. Food has been exelent Sabatinis great for breakfast with fantastic service. We are currently docked in Mykanos and will sail in 3 hrs to Athens. More to come.

I too took the upsell for $1800 but instead of the Vista we took the new Penthouse on Lido L721 with the complete wrap around balcony. We have never been that high before as we like Caribe on all ships. Only time will tell if this was a good move but I think it will be!
