  1. I will be going on the Liberty in a couple of weeks. Can you go to any slot machine and charge an amount up to 500 dollars to your room and then play. I was on the Anthem and was able to do this, but the Liberty is an older ship. Anyone who has been on the Liberty and can confirm this I would appreciate it since this way I do not have to bring too much cash.

    Thank you,

    Steve

  2. I will be on the Oasis in Sept 2023. I am not a prime member of the casino royale so I cannot go to the cashier to get cash without the 5% fee. I was on the Allure in 2019 and I was able to go to any slot machine and charge an amount up to 500 to my seapass without any fee. I did not have to play the entire amount and I could cash it in at any time and use the balance on the voucher in any machine or just cashing in the voucher. Is this also available on the Oasis of the seas.

    Thank you for any responses.

  3. This will be my first sailing using the 5 free drinks for diamond plus. I believe it includes all drinks up to 14 dollars and you can pay the difference if the amount is over. I mostly drink vodka and my wife drinks wine or champagne. Is there a way of knowing what brands of vodka and what wines/champagnes would be in the 14 dollar and under category. Sailing on Sept 10th.

    Thank you,

    Steve

  4. I am not prime. I was on the Allure is Sept and the cage in the casino gave me the instructions on how to go to any slot machine and I could get an amount up to 500 dollars without any fee. It was put on my sea pass account. I am going on Oasis this year and the Anthem next year so if anyone is on both ships and can find out that would be great. The feature was great to use so I did not have to bring much cash.

I posted this in the other original thread, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to put in here also...

Neither of mine have shown up yet (for Feb 2020 Harmony sailing). I just got off the phone with C&A and they said that the OBC's are being done "by hand" and taking longer than expected and I should see it by the end of the month.

Understandable that it takes a while if being done manually, but odd that they didn't realize the time it would take before they told everyone that it would be available to use "by October 11th"... 🤔

I also called. The day I called the OBC was posted to my reservation and I received an email with the change on my statement. I saw that the 50 dollar credit was there. I did not see the credit on my cruise planner several days later so I called again. After being on hold several times and then talking to a supervisor I was told that the credit can only be used on board so it will not appear on my cruise planner. I explained that I did think that it was fair to do it this way but was told there was nothing that could be done. So if you were looking to buy something ahead of time you will not be able to. If anyone received the credit and it is on their cruise planner ahead of time please post. Thank you.

  6. Hope this helps you. I was on the Allure 5/19/19 to 5/26/19 out of Fort Lauderdale. I have used valet luggage before on Southwest and the flights always had to be between 12 and 6PM. I had a 12:40 flight. When on the ship I received paperwork and all other airlines started at 11:30. In bold letters Southwest was only with flights between 2PM and 6PM so I could not use the service. I was told that each week the airlines can change there times and Royal will not know until the ship sails.

Yes. It is a little tricky to get the size correct. But you can do it.

When I applied for passports last year (at the Post Office) they gave me copies of the pics they took.  I just scanned those and uploaded them.

When I was on the Anthem last year I also used the passport photos. They told me that it must be a different picture than the passport so they had to take new ones for me and my wife. Only took an extra minute so when I go on the Allure next month I will let them take pictures.

Apologies, seems only the start of my review has appeared,

    to continue,

On arrival at the port, we identified our selves as key and were immediately led to a separate check in desk, (No queue) then onto a separate seating area, we were called for boarding very early, on boarding we dropped our hand luggage off at the opal theatre, ( it’s then deposited directly into your cabin), then headed out for a wonder, just before noon we went to Chops and had a great lunch, forgot to mention we were given our access codes for the internet at check in. Cabin we’re called ready at 1pm for all guests.

There was no need to book shows (except comedy) as you have reserve seating and just walk in, again no queuing.

Flow rider and zip lining also had reserved times, one hour a day, (it wasn’t closed to other guest you just got to skip the line).

on the last day a breakfast is included, again no lines and fast service, you can get off the ship anytime you want, there was a massive queue to disembark, we identified ourselves as key, escorted to the front of the queue, our luggage awaited us in a separate area.

We also signed up for the ultimate dining package and drinks package, both again, to us worth every penny. We were in a balcony cabin.

the early disembarkation at ports wasn’t tested due to the novo virus caper, as an aside, we felt Royal Caribbean and the crew could not do more in the circumstances

I am thinking of purchasing the key and when calling Royal they could not answer one question. I am sailing on the Allure in May of this year. If I do not make my reservations for shows except the comedy can I go to any show without a reservation. Also if for some reason I would like to see a show twice like at the Aqua Theatre or the ice show can I just show my card with the key without a reservation. I would not want to get on the ship and find out that since I did not make a reservation I could not get in to my choice of shows. Thank you or anyone who has used the key already for your answers.

  9. It could be in the Silk restaurant. They are all indoors. My advice is to show up early to be sure of a seat. On other ships where you are lined up outside I prefer to arrive exactly on time so that waiting around is minimal, but not on Anthem.h

Thank you for the response. I will be in cabin 11238 in case anyone has been in that cabin and remembers where they went. The first time on a ship I like to explore before the cabin is ready so I was hoping to know ahead of time. Also Bob thank you for your quick response.

  10. Not saying he wasn't doing his job. But it should have been handled differently If he was Doing his job he should have seen her walk out. And noticed that she didn't have a wristband when she left. She was only out for a couple of minutes, she didn't stroll around the island.

And he never should have told her "you ain't getting in there, you should go back to the ship and get a wristband".

The real problem was the Suite/Pinnacle concierges they totally dropped the ball.

    Hello rt1092

Guess who this is. If you can not figure it out I will see you in 300 days on the Allure.
