When filling out the PR Travelsafe declaration your option is “ add a cruise. ” The QR code is is presented upon arrival. As of just recent fully vaccinated no longer need to provide a negative Covid test.
Thank you!

Anyone recently been on a cruise out of San Juan that can give guidance on which form to fill out on PR Travelsafe site? We are coming into PR 3 days ahead of our cruise. Do I need to fill out the form in the ‘add a trip’ option or ‘add a cruise trip’ option, or both? Do you have to present the QR code to authorities for scanning upon arrival? Also is it true that you no longer need to provide a negative Covid test to enter PR if you are fully vaccinated?

I knew nothing about Kotor before our cruise, just loved walking around the walled city , main church was celebrating 850 year , people ware super friendly , one of the real highlights of our cruise.
If you enjoy thrills ride a tour bus up the mountain from the town. About wide enough for one vehicle and always an adventure when two vehicles meet. Wish I had gotten liquored up before heading ashore 😀

Does this happen often? Have you gotten a call regarding your survey?
I sent in my survey and forgot to add something about the horrible salad bar selections in the WJ and I actually got a call back. They called to discuss the salad bar and the assistant waiter we had in the MDR. I hope they take it easy on him. I also mentioned about the person stealing at Café Lattitudes because oddly she didn't bring it up. At least they took it seriously.
I’ve been contacted before when I had a horrible experience with shore excursions. They did a great job of following up and made sure I was happy in the end by offering me future cruise credit

We had a packed day for our first day in London, and walked 20 miles, according to our Fitbit’s. We both love walking, and it was just easier for us, given the route I mapped for things to do on Day 1
We have been lucky with the weather. Just overcast yesterday, and bright sunshine today.
Will post more about our first day in London later. Waiting in line for the Tower of London now, but here is a nice photo of Tower Bridge this morning.
London is such a great city with so much to see. For those going I recommend a night cruise on the Thames as the city lights are impressive.

Half the time they can’t even honor their own pricing because their systems are so screwed up. Countless times I’ve called for adjustments and been told things like ‘you can’t combine a resident discount with a Deal promo code’, yet lo and behold there it is on their website. Now I just immediately ask for a supervisor.

Is the menu for Med cruises different than East Coast US menus. I would think Chinas would be altered also?
I’ve never noticed any significant differences

Done the 12 night Greek Isles and 12 night Venice out of Barcelona. Think they both had 3 sea days with 2 of them in a row. They were well spaced and gave ample time to rest up. Have another 12 nighter next month and that one has 4 sea days. Regardless you’ll likely be exhausted from you vacation 😉

Has anyone done the Exclusive Vatican Behind the Scenes Shore excursion on the Western Med cruise? We’re sailing in a few weeks and have this booked. It looks like the description changed since we book. Wondering if anyone has done it and has any feedback. Thanks!
What changed? I have it booked as well next month.

If they honor the snafu pricing , I hope it won’t impact those amazing gifts they give out at trivia. What would I do without my keychain?

Come on.... you had to know it was incorrect and an IT issue. If they overcharged for something people would be screaming.
A mistake yes. Very similar to one I made when I accidentally cancelled the wrong RC excursion on their website before my last cruise and immediately called to explain but was told ‘I’m sorry but you’ll have to rebook at the now higher price’, which was significantly higher. Amazing how companies find ways to explain away their mistakes but when consumes make them their hands are tied.

So if my bf wears shorts but they go below his knees, is that okay?
I have done that on the trips that we have made to the Vatican and had no problems with security especially if they come close to the knees. If he’s concerned though I suggest buying pants that have the zip on/off pant legs and that way he could put them on just prior to going and take back off when you get out.

Our tour ended here. You were on your own to find your way back to your hotel / cruise terminal, etc. It DID say this on the booking confirmation, but I was very glad that our hotel was just around the block. Some people had 1-2 km to get back and they were dreading that walk.
Would I recommend this tour? It was pretty good. Yesterday’s, however, was really good.
I feel like most of what we did today could be done on your own with just minimal planning. EVERYTHING in the city is easily walkable. And there’s also the HOHO bus if you’d rather do that.
We paid $82 each, and that included all of our admissions (priority admission for Sagrada Família - no waiting in line). But you can buy your tickets online ahead of time, so I would say unless you just feel more comfortable with a guide, a city tour probably isn’t necessary. Just my two cents.
I highly recommend the HOHO bus in Barcelona. I recall there being 3 routes which take you all over the city. We took it after flying in in the morning and dropping off our luggage at hotel. Great place to veg after jet lag till you can check 😀

We’ve always bought our wine in the Barcelona cruise terminal just past security screening. Actually have a pretty good selection. Enjoy your cruise. We have the same itinerary in late August so following closely.

We have been on several Caribbean cruises with RCI all on Voyager class ships and above. We have had a balcony cabin most of the time, which is nice, but, to be honest, we don't really use the balcony much. We are only in the cabin to change clothes and sleep at night. We are thinking of booking the Mediterranean Venice cruise on Jewel which leaves out of Barcelona and I'm wondering since this itinerary is much more port intensive if it would be worth it to have a balcony. The difference in cost between an oceanview cabin and an oceanview balcony cabin is about $700. Are there really pretty sights along the way on this route or when pulling into ports? Do you think it's worth the extra cost? Advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Venice sail in is fantastic but if your itinerary includes Kotor Montenegro I would say that alone makes the balcony worthwhile. It was absolutely amazing. There are several YouTube videos out there that gives you an idea of how beautiful it is.

Just do a Google search. Lots of recent positive reviews.
Was there last April. The sea grass was horrible. However service, food, and drink was outstanding.

Done two 12 night med cruises on RCCL out of Barcelona on Vision and loved them both. The itineraries were fantastic (Greek Isles and Venice) but very exhausting port days. Wasn’t impressed with entertainment on either but food was good and service outstanding.
