Hi, thank you for replying. Did it have a sofa? Some of the inside rooms only have 1 arm chair. Did he say it was quiet? We hope he sends you pics.
thank you

We're going on Silhouette on 1/15/24. We HAD 6402 booked, but switched to an obstructed balcony when rates dropped a bit. However, our cousin is in 6403. I will make it a point to check out his cabin..maybe get some pictures and post them, if I can figure out how.
Hi, hope you still got pics of your cousins room 6403.
thank you

We will be in 6403 on 2/8/24 and will be posting video. So odd that nobody has posted any pics yet with so much wonderment - LOL.
Hi, looking forward to your posting of a video. Thanks so much.

Hello, Does anyone know what the hollow square means? I see the solid square is convertible sofa bed, connecting rooms, etc.
Thanks so much

About getting off the ship, we were on the Equinox in August and got off in St Maarten to walk around the shopping area just off the ship. We didn't have to worry about keeping our distance because there was no one there. We were practically the only passengers walking around a big open area. And most of the shops were closed. Except Diamonds International, of course.
We were more worried about so many people in the airport and on the plane flying to FLL from the west coast.
(LJSNY, we're also booked on the 11/13 Reflection.)
Nice to hear you will be cruising that week as well.

We sail in 2 weeks and have decided to not do any tours become of how booked the transportation on these seem to be. Otherwise we are going to wear a mask on board if we feel it's needed.
We don't want to wear a mask while on board, which Celebrity is not requiring now. If this changes, we will go for the future credit.

Honestly, it's less of a concern than interactions with random people BEFORE embarkation.
Caribbean excursions:
Almost entirely outside = almost zero risk of transmission
Going where other vaccinated cruisers go = virtually no risk, no matter how close you might sit
Unless your excursion plan is to spend hours on end with untold numbers of unvaccinated locals in a closed-in space, there is more risk pre-cruise.
This is good info as well. I'm glad I posted my concerns. Thanks

Being that you booked this cruise in the first place, I assume that you are confident in your choice and the way you will go about handling the protocols the ship has in place. Really, the only thing that you are in control of is taking care of yourselves. No different than any vacation, just another player in the mix. I would use the word 'awareness' rather than concern or worry. Being aware means you have a handle on what's happening and what should be happening. Being concerned or worried assures that a bit more stress will tag along with you for the entire cruise. It would be much more enjoyable, naturally, if that were not the case. Thinking about additional challenges is logical, just don't let them deter you from having a good time. With the right mindset, you'll be fine.
We booked this cruise in Jan of 2020. I guess we'll have to decide if we want to take the risk. Awareness would be key, like you said.

We're booked 11/13 on Reflection. We love that everyone needs to be vaccinated & negative to cruise. We are however concerned about people getting off and touring on their own and getting back on the ship. Does anyone else have these concerns or should we not be worried?
Thanks so much.

Yes cards.

There was a more rectangular than oval table close to the bar which had about 10 players on it every night.
And that table they were using cards?
Thanks :)
-
Yes they have tables for Texas hold'em, nothing electronic that I saw, all old fashioned cards.
Hi Mike,
Just to be sure we're on the same page. These are not blackjack size tables with the texas hold'em game. This table will be about 4'x8' oval shape and seat about 8 or 10 people.
Thanks

Mike,
I think it's wonderful that you are offering to answer questions. What a great idea.
I have a question about poker. Do they have poker tables for Texas hold'em?
and are they electronic or do they use cards?
On the newer celebrity ships they are electronic.
Thanks so much & enjoy the cruise.
Best,
Larry :)

Hi, thanks for posting. It looks very roomy. Is that an arm chair in the back or a sofa for 2? I was hoping for a place for both of us to sit. What did your cousin say about the room?
we like the location.
thanks so much
