We were on the spirit in July..From the time of collecting our luggage, boarding the coach and setting off was only around fifteen minutes...it appears once a coach was full they leave no hanging about. The transfer took an hour and a half. On arrival at port they were expecting us and had plenty staff and counters open. A very sleek operation. The safety drill was at 8.30 .

  2. Frustrated but lesson learned...this will be the last Thomson cruise I will book in advance. I had been looking at the Celebration for next summer but will not be booking now...I will wait and have a look a few weeks before our holidays and see what's available then. It wasn't as though I was asking for something for nothing.
  3. Having a bit of a rant really.....Our up coming cruise in October will be our sixth with Thomsons. Returned from our last cruise on the Spirit two weeks ago. I booked our next cruise for the Majesty back in April....I know I shouldn't have but I checked on the price of our October cruise and it has come down quite a bit...That's the way it goes I hear you say and yes I agree.. but on looking at the cabins the prices to upgrade are low...so I contact Thomsons to upgrade our cabin and was quoted prices at silly amounts to what is being offered now. I feel this is where Thomsoms falls short in recognising returning customers. I didn't upgrade our cabin but now have to watch the daily fall in prices. Thankyou for reading this far...rant over :mad:
  4. Thanks everyone for your help much appreciated....I have managed to retrieve my e- tickets but alas I appear to have another problem!! I purchased travel insurance at time of booking..All that appears to download is a booklet with 50 odd pages...should there not be an insurance certificate?

  5. Hi all looking for a bit of advice...Sailing on the 13th July. We booked on line included travel insurance in our booking. Was sent email two days ago containing e- tickets. I have tried since then to access but no joy. Message appears stating they are having technical problems. Only items available to download are a 59 page insurance booklet and an abta cover. When I tried calling was put in a queue at 5p a minute for 45 minutes gave up ..Help!!
