Are any specialty restaurants worth going to on Pride of America?? We are cruising in September. Do we need to make reservations now?

Ok decided in renting car in Maui. I have a Couple of questions new to cruising! I plan on renting a car through discount hawaii rentals. Assume there is a shuttle there to take u to get rental car??? Are all cars rented from airport and if so how far from Kahului dock to rental agency?

Also going in September. I hear parking may be tough. We will probably return by 6:00 pm. any current information welcome. Actually debating on renting and returnng and renting again following day if parking issue.

Is it easy enough to drive around Maui and find points of interest? We don't want to do road to Hana again or Haleakala.

Looking for some recent posts on this tour in Maui and can't find anything. It sounds exactly what I am looking for however there are no recent posts on trip advisor either.

We will be on POA IN September. Heard a lot about beach at Sheraton. Do you know if we can rent chairs there or get a day pass in early September. Want to chill but really want to rent a chair and umbrella. Thanks!!

Okkk was all set to book with hertz and then reviews that were recent on yelp about hertz in Kauai! Yikes!! Looks like Alamo may be better?? Better reviews,

People waited forever for car once at hertz cu of lines.

Hi all! Looking for some recent info on renting car in Kauai. After researching I think it seems easy enough to drive island. Very straight forward!!! Saying this why should we rent from that will drop off and pick up? Or do we have to shuttle ?

Also Popei beach is close to cruise ship like 25 mins??? Can u use hotel beaches!

Also want to do smith luau same day as rental. What will have time to see driving and musts???

Looking for some thoughts here! I see rave reviews about movie tour in Kauai. I am torn ! This tour vs the the canyon and grotto. I do want to do Smith Luau as well! Also not seeing any small tour companies for these like in Hilo. Thanks so much for some of your thoughts!

Roberts has a tour of just Fern Grotto?? I want to do that but seemed all day tour and then WOUOD miss Smiths luau?

Brand new here! A bit stressed! all I read is DONT book excursions too expensive do on your own, rent a car , etc! Can you all help me out? Who do you use for car rental and do they drop off at ship? Getting around islands? Are there things they advise u to see and then just plug in Gps? I am pretty savy as long as I get started!!! Lol! Some contact info here for tours, renting a car advise, must beach, etc. We have been to Maui and have done all the biggies but other places no. Thank uuuu all so much in advance!! Maybe u all can calm me down. I need a plan and don't want to get in a tourist trap tour thing with cruise line.
