In my experience, it can be chilly in the lounges, especially during the day - but I get cold easily. You can regulate the temp in your cabin. Expect it to be very cold on deck while going through the glaciers. As for vapes, yes, they can be used in your cabin - not your balcony. They only allow them in smoking sections of the ship.

In my experience, she will be able to ride it close to where she will be seated and the dining staff will park it out of their way & retrieve it when she is ready to leave.

We used them for a sunset cruise in Honolulu. Upon checking in at the desk, discovered that they charged 50% more than if we had booked directly with the tour operator.

There was a disruptive 2-year old in the Crown Grille the night we went, which was not a pleasant experience for the other diners.

We did a tour with "Ricky Ricardo's Tours". A fun, informative day with many stops of interest, lunch & boat ride to see crocodiles & species of birds.

I'm a quilter, so bought a table runner quilt kit - will probably look for something bigger next trip, & DH bought a belt buckle.

I try not to use my credit card in foreign ports (I just don't trust people). In addition to having envelopes pre-filled, as stated above, I also bring plenty of small bills for on-shore purchases - less chance of getting foreign currency back in change.

I read that some RCI ships have a "virtual balcony" in their inside cabins - would be nice if Princess would do that.

I rented one for our last cruise on the Caribbean Princess. If you have the beds configured to 2 twins, you can maneuver around and back it up against the wall between the end of the bed & fridge. We met a couple that both used scooters & they would have their room steward take them to be stored out of the way & then bring them back when they were needed.

I've also had good experiences with them. You make a deposit on line and pay the balance IN CASH to the vendor. I had to cancel one of my upcoming excursions and received a prompt refund of my deposit.

Have to have audiobooks (free from the library) pre-downloaded on my phone & earbuds.

We booked through Shore Excursioneer for Cozumel (open air bus around the island) and Roatan (private driver for 4 hours). Very pleased with both. Just be aware that you pay a deposit on line & the balance IN CASH to the tour operator.

We fold towels to put in front of the nightstands and bring masking tape to cover the one in front of the bathroom door at night.
