  1. It just stands to reason that anyone witnessing  a situation where a woman was physically being restrained and someone was attempting to forcibly make the woman drink something, that person would intervene or summons someone else. If you see something you say something.

  2. This is deplorable that this young girl found herself in such a situation. Was she sitting at a bar

and the bartender witnessed her being given alcohol by adult men, and failed to intervene. I feel more likely the girl was in a distant lounger and alcohol was being brought to her. Many have posted where were her responsible family members and it was mentioned that many fifteen year olds roam the ship by their selves . If that is the case and the parents felt she was old enough and responsible enough to be off by herself than she should have been responsible enough not to accept drinks from strangers. I'm sure she was well aware as an minor she definitely should not have been drinking. I am pretty sure she was not held down and the alcohol was poured down her throat.  In either case the responsible men definitely need to be prosecuted for the heinous crime, but I am not convinced that the crew staff was a witness to it.

  3. My power strip & extension cord were confiscated from my carry on bag at the security screening on check in -I elected not to retrieve them upon disembarking as there was a line at the office -didn't feel like dealing with the line --extension cord had been one from home & powerstrip I had picked up from cvs for $7.99 -so be it

I booked with TA for two cruises -last cruise party of 17 --TA was able to obtained early seating for party -made arrangements for entertainment venues & gave each cabin $25 Obc -put followed that up with an substantial gift card for dinner at one of our local restaurants-this most recent cruise as it was just myself & daughter traveling -he was able to once again obtain early seating -table for 2 --ocean view (which was the icing on the cake) --and followup gift card for one of our local restaurants---imo a TA would have contacts to facilitate my request-less headache for me

  5. I too just disembarked from anthem of the seas 9 day cruise -loved - loved it. In 2016 I cruised this same ship however it was the 5 day cruise to Bermuda -didn't feel that 5 days was enough time to get to know the ships-but this cruise 9 days I knew which dining venues & entertainment venues were aft or fore -starboard-port. I also had early seating in the Grande -which is just that grand -our waiter mark & his assistant Elvis top notch -professional -friendly -went out of their way to ensure that we had the ultimate dining experience. Didn't do the buffet (windjammer restaurant)that much only breakfast & dinner once each-area is definitely very crowded. My daughter & I often dined in the less congested solarium bistro -little restaurant located front of ship in the area known as the solarium. This was also our retreat -peaceful -relaxing small bodies of water & hot tubs. This area (pool) is designated as adult area -minimum age 16 -so no children running around and splashing water. It was also noted that the amount of children on the whole was less than when I cruised in 2016-July -of course -summer time children out of school -so May just might become my favorite cruising month. Departing from Liberty on the 25th the first 2 days as we cruised south the Atlantic turbulent , didn't really seem to notice it after that. On a couple of sea days I put the "do not disturb " sign out -ordered breakfast in & enjoyed on the balcony-taking in the serenity of looking out & searching the horizon-beautiful-relaxing. Of the 4 islands visited I was most happy to experience Puerto Rico & Haiti -as those were very first for me. The spectra cabaret show is something not to be missed . I too will continue another time -with a review of a part of the ship most guest don't get to experience-the medical center !

  7. Please be aware -royal caribbean has implemented new changes -my power strip(non-surged) & extension cord were confiscated at security screening. My carryon bag went through the screening machine & was pulled off by an officer who requested that I open the bag & inquired did I have any electrical cords -they proceeded to do a through search of my bag -the officer was displacing items -in his search for this "contraband " -that I attempted to assist him & said no I believe the item is over on this side -at this point he stated for me to remove my hands from the bag that I was not allowed to touch the bag during the search --so I stood by quite annoyed I may add -as I observed him completely undoing my hard work of arranging everything in the bag the night before. Upon finding the bag that contained the items he examined them and informed him that in fact the power strip was a non-surged item -he informed me neither the strip or extension cord was allowed my set & sail pass was examined & I was given an receipt for confiscated items & informed I could pick them up when I returned at customs. Mind you I had the same items when i traveled in July last year -no problems!
