Your TA's office will send the OBC to the ship a week before sailing. Constantly check with your TA that she has a receipt that it was done. One time I didn't follow up and it never showed and RCCL wouldn't honor the OBC, as I didn't book with RCCL.

Had a Boardwalk balcony. Never again! Hot, no privacy...thought we were in the middle of a big city.

Great photos, thanks so much. Brought back wonderful memories of sailing the Freedom and Liberty. Terrific ships!!

Code Alpha means medical emergency. On one cruise, while in the solarium, we heard the code announced and medical personnel came running to help someone in the area. They were very swift and efficient.

Did you visit Bluebeards Castle or any other sights along with mountain views?

Agree. Oasis and Allure are best for entertainment, excitement, etc. Oasis Western is running a bit less expensive than Allure. A great option is RCCL Freedom or Liberty. Many similar venues as O&A, but smaller ship and less expensive. Any of these will be great.

Totally entertaining, wonderful, and a great way to begin a day. An exceptional writer. When I read a great book/article I love reading about the author...kinda gives depth to the read. Well, of course, I began to wonder who SailorJack is and where does he use his talent? He writes on the same line as Craig Wilson/USA Today, or as a former script writer for Seinfeld, Fraiser, Cheers, etc. Or perhaps he is the writer/organizer for The Vent on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ( I have 3 sons/families living in Atlanta). Or perhaps he is just a gifted writer who uses his gift for the delight of his readers. So, SailorJack, continue to enhance us with your delightful, funny, yet informative tales of your travels with SailorJill and perhaps one day some of us will have the joy of traveling with you.
Resonable Boston hotel before cruise
in Canada/New England
Posted
We will be staying in Boston MA for 2 nights in Oct before our Canada/New England cruise. Any suggestions for a reasonable hotel in the heart of the city near public transportation. A plus would be a shuttle/transportation to the cruiseport. Thanks so much
