  1. Ugh, we always end up with later flights (5:00/8:00PM) and really get tired of sitting at the airport all day so this time not thinking about it booked our flights leaving out of Orlando at 11:30AM:rolleyes:. Thankfully were plats so we should be able to get off the ship early enough but that's cutting it super close

  2. I'm a diabetic and need to keep my insulin cold. The refrigerators are barely adequate for that. I usually end up bringing a small cooler and give the cabin steward $20 on the first day and tell him to keep that baby stocked with ice for the duration and I'll give him another $20 upon debarktation. I have no desire to walk down to the infirmary every time I need insulin.

  3. if you purchase cheers can you buy it on day you want or if you buy it for each day of your cruise so a 7 day cruise would cost $349? that's a lot of alcohol.

If you think about it. your on a cruise, you wake up in the morning and eat breakfast and then head for shore to do your shore excursion and your gone most all day off the ship.

You get back to the ship, , shower, change cloths and possible head for dinner. That leaves a few hours in the evening to down at least 8 drinks to break even on cheers and then pass out somewhere on the ship. Wake up the next morning with a hang over and repeat yesterday day over again by trying to eat breakfast with a hangover, get off the ship at the next port for your next shore excursion, gone all day off the ship, come back at the end of the day, eat dinner and down another minimum 8 drinks to again break even, pass out, wake up repeat.

    get the idea?

    up to you though.

On the same note, you wake up have a few bloody Mary's with breakfast, go out for the day and come back and grab a beer on your way to your room to get ready for dinner. Grab cocktail in the bar on the main deck on the way to the MDR and possibly another with your appetizer, wine with dinner and maybe follow up with drinks while you enjoy the ship the rest of the night.

It's pretty easy to spend a $1k on drinks if you cruise with groups which we do while on the other hand I've been on cruises and haven't spent a dime. I know my dad buy it every cruise he goes on:eek:

  4. You can purchase the sticker that goes on your sail & sign card once you board the ship. You only pay once. At the time of purchase you can purchase a Carnival drink cup for a couple of dollars off the regular price. Not everyone in your cabin needs to purchase it. About $6 a day for adults and $4 for children.

It can be used any where drinks are sold including the main dining room except for room service.

We do the same thing. Family of five (now six) typically we get two cards and two cups ( red double walled with carnival logo) and any time somebody needs a drink you just swap cards. I think we have a dozen of the cups.

  5. I love our PVP. We have a very good relationship to the point I'm able to text him when we're ready to book. If he has any questions he'll text me! It's nice having somebody to watch prices for you and let you know of a price drop or about upcoming sales. He's saved me a bunch!
