Great review so far. We were on the ship with you and absolutely loved it. It was our first time out of Galveston and we tried it just because it was different. We had been out of every port except New York and San Francisco but typically go out of Florida. We stayed in 12363, an excel suite, and 12357 and 12359 (balconies). We loved the ship also!

Am booked in 12359 in December.   Would love to hear your thoughts and any photos you might wish to share.

It’s great fun!  My wife and I (two adults!) really enjoyed it, and it was clear that the kids there were having an excellent time too.

We took a cab there, and had the folks at the front gate call us a cab when we were ready to leave. In terms of food, I think you could walk down the long hill to the Fish Fry, but I don’t know about the safety issues in terms of doing that.  You might just want to take a cab back into town and have lunch there. (We love a place called Bahamian Cookin)

Do you remember cost of taxi to and from Ardastra?

We will be in Nassau next month and would like to go to Ardastra Gardens. How difficult is it to get a taxi at the pier?

This is what we may want to do in April.  Any answers regarding this topic?

The email from Carnival doesn’t specifically say what the 25% FCC is based on. The email does say that all monies paid so far will be totally refunded including the deposit..even for Early Saver.  I’ve paid the deposit plus made equal monthly payments to the tune of about $1600.  I’m presuming the 25% FCC is based on the cruise fare only…not port fees and taxes.
They are giving a $100 OBC for the inconvenience…..are they giving another $100 OBC for booking a future cruise by Feb 2023?  Shucks, when my cruise was cancelled in 2020…we got $600 OBC….that was nice!  Will Carnival inform us of the amount of the FCC, or does the travel agent do that?

Guess I’ll just have to wait for Carnival or my ta to inform me of amounts.

According to my PVP we are only getting $25 each as FCC ! Not nearly enough to offset the increase in pricing!

That sailing is fully $900 more than what we were booked at for the inaugural, so not doing that one. I don't care what the cheerleaders all say -- I call BS on the whole thing. Even if they think there might be some supply issue between now and then, a YEAR is long enough to either come up with a work-around or make the time up some other way. I get that booked customers need lead time to make changes to their own plans, but a year? C'mon.

Same here.  Had a great casino offer.  Guess we'll just forget about booking another date.  Only going to get $50 FCC,  no way does that balance out to increased pricing and being offered a junior balcony instead of a regular one!
