Can anyone recommend one or the other for a Discover Scuba class? There are many dive shops on Roatan, but have narrowed it down to these two. I have been scuba diving before, but my boyfriend hasn't. Both have excellent reviews on trip advisor and both are pretty much the same price.

I did a mock booking on Carnival.com and see that the price is the same, but now includes $50 on board credit. I do not want to lose the current state room I have. Also when it says total price, does this include taxes, fees, and port expenses? So to make sure I have this correct:

I am in Europe so I don't like calling internationally. Haven't completely committed to Cheers yet. We have 4 port days, so still deciding if we would be able to drink that much to make it worth it.

Yeah I have looked into the water park, not really what we are looking for. Am thinking now just to head down the Majahual and rent a jetski or something. Would love to do parasailing, but am also having trouble finding if they offer that somewhere on the Majahual.

I am looking to do zip lining while in Costa Maya. I have found videos and older threads about zip lining in Costa Maya, but nothing really recent. Has anyone recently done zip lining here? I am not sure if the company Biomaya Canopy is still around. Nothing else at this port seems really interesting for us. We are doing mayan ruins in Belize and we aren't really beach people.

I thought I had clicked on the add pre-paid gratuities at the time of booking, but can't find any confirmation that I have indeed paid for the gratuities. If I didn't pay for the gratuities a head of time, how does it work once on board? I don't want to be tipping ever person as we go. Is there a way to pay for all the gratuities once on board like if we did pre pay it? Like at check in pay the $110 per person?

I wonder how Your Time Dining is like on the Dream especially on a night like New Years Eve. We would be a party of 2. I hear a lot of mixed reviews on Your Time Dining. But then again I also don't know how I would feel sitting a table with a bunch of strangers for 7 nights if we stuck with a set dining time.

If an excursion says from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm, what is your experience of actually getting back to the dock at 2:00 pm? Do most excursions stick to their time? We have early dining at 6 pm and I am thinking of changing it to late dining specifically because of New Years Eve. That day we will be doing a Carnival excursion Lamanai Mayan Ruins & River Boat Safari, but I want enough time to get back to my cabin and get ready for the festivities without rushing to dinner at 6pm.

Has anyone ever done this excursion through Carnival before? There is only 1 review on the Carnival site, so am looking for a little more insight before I book it.

Another question regarding online checkin now: The Authority of my passport is United States Department of State, but it only allows me room enough to write United States Department of St, is it okay if I just put United States.

CRISIS ADVERTED!!! For some reason it will let me change it if I did it all in separate steps. Like first the last name, then the first name, then the birthday, then the citizenship. Yes I tried that, but when I go to change the name to my boyfriend's name it says full name change not allowed. My boyfriend doesn't have the same last name as me since we aren't married.

So I just booked an 8 day cruise out of New Orleans. When booking it only asked me for my details. Now when I go to manage my booking to change my guests name which is currently TBA Tannehill. It won't let me change it to my boyfriend's name. It is saying full name change not allowed. I am not in the United States so calling their customer service would be expensive.

I am looking at doing the CANOPY & GUMBALIMBA PARK excursion and I have read that you can only do that through the cruise line. While searching the Native Choice website for a mayan ruin tour in Costa Maya I came across some recommended pages and http://www.roatanshoreexcursions.com came up offering the exact same excursion as Carnival but with a price of $70. The carnival excursion is priced at $100. Does anyone have experience with working with Roatan Shore Excursions Company. Thanks :).
