Does anyone know if there are spin classes on the Prima? I’ve gone through some of the dailies that people have posted and I haven’t seen any listed.

Thanks for the thread Sid, it’s much appreciated as I’ll be on the Prima in May - you are definitely an interesting cat.

Since it's for an officer, contact the mariners desk...
What is this mysterious mariners desk you speak of, I can't find a contact for it anywhere.

Write this day down because it will forever be known as the day HAL refused to take my money.
I just tried ordering some flowers to an officer's cabin and Ship's Services told me there was no way for them to process the order. So I guess miracles do happen.

I noticed in a photo on the promenade deck of the Koningsdam there was a sign which said ‘No Jogging.’ While I suspect I’m about to be excoriated, I’m curious how people really feel about this as, with the exception of two short sections aft by the dining room, there seems to be a pretty wide walkway? I get that there’s a jogging track on the Sun Deck but it seems pretty small, it’s already boring running in circles so I’m not looking forward to smaller circles (if ten miles is 30 laps of the promenade deck, it looks like it would be 150 laps of the jogging track and I can’t count that high). I realize there are treadmills in the fitness center as well, and I plan on using them too, but they’re even more boring than running in circles!
And go...

Thanks guys, we usually go balcony but since the cruise is port intensive, with long hours at every port, we have decided to go with these rooms based on your photos! Maybe we'll spring for a cabana on a sea day.

Apparently the Koningsdam has floor to ceiling windows in ocean view suites 4037-4040 but I can’t find a photo (and neither can my TA) of what these windows look like compared to a regular ocean view window. Has anyone actually seen these elusive floor to ceiling windows??

How much does the unlimited dining package cost?

I am a restaurant manager and I could care less if you spend the entire meal on your phone. Watching videos with the volume up, however, is disruptive to other guests and should not be tolerated.

I would probably never put up a door sign but will be sure to do it on my next cruise just because it will apparently make some people angry. If having to walk by someone's door sign bothers you that much you've got some serious issues.

Who is on the Oosterdam Oct 16th?
If you haven't already found out, Barry from Boston is currently onboard the Oosterdam until January.
I just returned from a 7 night Alaska cruise and found his Broadway schtick, incredible repertoire and engaging style to be fantastic! There wasn't a night I didn't stop by for at least a few songs.

I'm waiting for the rumor that says you'll be able to stay in your room in your robe while food is delivered out of a chute - on demand.
What? That's not an option already?
I was really looking forward to the on-demand food chute whilst lounging in my robe.

Hi everyone,
We will be sailing on the 2/7 B2B Caribbean itinerary on the Eurodam. Since we are departing on Super Bowl Sunday, we were wondering what kind of festivities they have on board for this event?
We're especially looking forward to the game since the Packers have been projected to play in Super Bowl 50. . . ;) Thank you for any insights.
Elizabeth
I hate to burst your bubble but for the Packers to get to the Super Bowl they would have to beat the Seahawks and that's not going to happen =P
I was wondering if anyone knows whether they do anything for the games during the regular season, as I am leaving on the first sunday of the NFL season this year?

With regards to the Aquarium.... here's a suggested reverse timeline
[*]4pm wheels up
[*]2pm arrive at YVR to retrieve luggage, check-in, and the important searches (weapons, luggage, carry-on, body, hand, cavity.... full meal deal)
[*]12:45pm.... depart Aquarium for YVR
[*]9:30am aquarium arrival when it first opens
[*]9am depart ship and look for CDS
I live right by the aquarium and can confirm this is your best bet, and also very accurate.
I would seriously consider walking to the aquarium on the sea wall, 45min to an hour as stated earlier. I would also highly recommend transit back to YVR, the Canada Line train is faster than driving. Cabs in Vancouver can only take 4 passengers so you would need 2 and from Stanley park, midday on the weekend in August be prepared to pay $40-$50 easy (I took a cab to YVR recently at 5:00am and it was $35 before tip).
Have a great trip and have a great time at the aquarium.

Awesome! Thanks for the live reports.
I am doing my first ever cruise on the Oosterdam in 46 days (not like I'm counting or anything) :)

One of the users on here took some photos of his Daily Programs on his 2015 cruise to Alaska (sorry, I can't remember who) but these were the best examples I could find.
