Holland America Ship - Veendam May 05, 2018

Stopping at Quebec City, Quebec, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada,Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Bar Harbor, Maine, US, Boston. Has anyone done this cruise itinerary before? if so are there any excursions you can do on your own instead of the ships? Any help much appreciated.

Can anyone tell me how to get from cruise terminal to Hilton Back Bay Hotel using the subway? From the UK so not sure of the system.

Looking at doing Montreal to Boston in May, on Veedham cruise ship. Will be coming from England so need to book early for flights, anybody any ideas if Holland and America do free drinks package or any kind of promotions, never cruised with them before.

Has anyone done the above cruise, these are the ports. Can you do these on your own? or is it best to book their excursions. Also can you walk from the port to the above places, if so is it far and will visa's be needed to go ashore. any help appreciated.

7th May Going on the P&O Britannia. Stopping at Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Santa Cruz (Tenerife) Maderia, Lisbon and Vigo booked one excursion to volcano + camel ride. If anyone's been is it easy to get from the port to the above cities? Usually just like to do our own thing. Any help appreciated.

Can anyone give any info on excursions is it easy to do your own thing (ie) ship docks near ports of call easy to walk into or shuttle bus provided we usually just do our thing or do you need to book some of the excursions. Any help appreciated.
