  1. Chased it all the way down...

    50 shares at 8.11

Averaged at 17.35? Not amazing, but better than just 21.39

  2. We are hoping to book in the Summer if things have stabilized. We don't have our fingers on the pulse of where prices are at but always look for sailings that are around $100/day or better and that is kind of our marker for decided where to buy.

Any promotions beyond that are usually just gravy.

  3. Our experience has been that you could not book the Sanctuary or Specialty restaurants for the second leg, until the first day of the second leg. However, since you are still on the ship before the new passengers get on, you are pretty much first in line for everything with the other B2B passengers.

At the beauty salon, they accepted appointments for the second leg on the last day of the first leg.

    Good to know, thanks

  4. I appreciate this topic as this has been what has been on my mind for awhile now in regards to our honeymoon cruise in January.

For a special occasion, there are a few things that I want to book right off the skip and not miss out on, since we'll be on the ship for 20 days.

First question, it is a back to back, can I book things for the second half as soon as we get on?

Second, I will post my list so far, but is there anything I am missing that I need to get on right away? The list:

    1) Ultimate Ship's tour.

    2) Balcony dinner

    3) Sanctuary (one sea day for both of us)

    4) Enclave for the trip (for her)

    5) Specialty dinner res (one each half of the trip)

  5. Wow, I did not realize how busy we were on Sailaway day.

    • This is also usually when I notice that the voice mail light on the telephone is flashing. It's just a message from the hotel manager welcoming me on board. I feel so special that he takes time out of his busy schedule just to welcome me so warmly.

You must be a VIP, that is quite an honour.

  6. That's disappointing. When I look ahead and see Cruise Atlas as a perk of a higher level Captain's Circle, I thought it was more than just a big brochure.

I pick those books up from my travel agent every so often :(

  7. From his Facebook groups:

It is with great pleasure that i have to announce to everybody that i have been asked to be the resident entertainer on the Crystal Serenity World Cruise starting January 11th Jan 11 to April 15, 2017

and then returning to Crystal Serenity June 19 to Sept 16, 2017. This is the No 1 cruise line and Cruise ship in the world and it is a great honor to be picked for this . This sadly means i will be leaving the Royal Princess one month earlier than planned on Jan 9th 2017 NOT feb 8th . I only just confirmation today about this . i know many people have booked on Princess but this is an opportunity that i cannot let go and truly a wonderful opportunity for me ..plus i absolutely love it here at Crystal . I will be on the Royal Princess from Nov 6th to Jan 9th 2017. Sorry but it does give people over 6 months warning of the change .

  8. He posted on his facebook a day or two ago about Crystal inviting him back onto the Serenity for a world cruise starting on Jan 10th and he took it.

From what I have read, he will be disembarking the Royal Princess before its January 9th pickup. Which is awful, because one of the main draws of us booking our honeymoon for a 20 day B2B on January 9th. We both love him.

But I can't blame him. After the year he has had, we wish him all the best.
