Would appreciate some suggestions of some restaurants in Barcelona,does not have to be pricey but enjoyed by you

I have been in a suite several times and fully enjoyed it.I never had any problems in Michaels club and it was always looked after properly.Perhaps if you wished to talk to the person at the desk,some people seemed to be at her desk constantly but having a drink and letting them know you wished to talked them they would come over and enjoying a drink while waiting was not so bad.

Lumanae had good and bad points

1/The last cruise we took was very crowded in the restaurant and had to have patience to get seated but the people serving were great so again patience came into play

2/The food was very good but sometimes a bit boring

3/After several cruises in the restaurant ,I wished that they would change the menus and sometimes there were several dishes to chose from and other times I found it difficult to find any item I was interested in

We have traveled dozens of times on all different ships (Sea Goddess,Crystal,Seabourn etc) but never on Regent,so being a bit of a bug I appreciate your comments

We are travelling my wife and I with her brother(3rd cruise together)who lost his wife 4 years ago.We look forward to meeting the face of a person who has been very helpful

thanks for your summary,as we are looking forward to our TA cruise on the Voyager in Nov.

Sounds to me that the tours and the children are your main complaint on the cruise.

We hate group tours but have opted to take them as except in Bermuda we have a short time there.Usally we do our own tours.

Just wonder why you will only take the 2 newer ships from now on

I am with everyone that after 6pm ,people should dress well and not wear jeans etc

But I think that there is some rules need to be broken.I have several high end tee shirts that I wear with a sport jacket and nice slacks.I believe it is a smart look and certainly in my opinion looks better than some collared shirts

We have been in Barcelona several times and except for Sagrada Familia which we would like to see it's progress,we have all the Gaudi sites( park,buildings),we are looking for some suggestions for a few days before our cruise of what in your opinion are some fun and interesting things in Barcelona

I am really interested in hearing your excursion stories as I have not had great experiences on them and usually book our own trips

But since they are paid for, we are going to try it again.One of the major things that annoy me is "be back on the bus by 1" and there always someone who holds up the whole bus because they don,t show up until 1:15

When you are on a ship with 2500 + then I have found that a suite is usually great (been on a few that didn't work out that way)as the lineups can be quite long

But a ship with 600 passengers even though I have never been on Regent(first one in Nov.)

How bad can it be?

cab ride to Tel Aviv from Ashdod is it a problem and return later in the evening

just want to take a taxi to \Tel Aviv from Ashdod and in the evening return to the ship

is that a difficult thing to do

we are just arriving at 1pm in Ashdod and just wanted to take a cab to and from the ship to tel aviv to see a few sites and have dinner with relatives

and if possible what is the cost

just that I get antsy on a long tour-would to see the sites and a bit of the city and markets but not a long time at each location

Try to have a mini tour with a cabbie prearranging for sure

We are cruising on October 17th and wondering if there is anything wrong with just getting off the ship and hiring a cab in Athens eupheses and malta and making our own itinery
