  1. I am taking my mother to Panama Canal cruise in October. My mother owns Chinese passport. She is also the legal permanent resident of the United States. The ports that we will stop by will be Guatemala, Columbia, and Costa Rica. I have been trying to find out if I need to apply the tourist visa for her. I can't get any help or advice from NCL. What should I do? Should I take her to those different country consulate in Los Angeles to apply for visa? In what route should I ask for advice?

  2. Hello my fellow cruisers, I will be on the Pearl to Panama Canal full transit cruise from 10/5/2016-10/20/2016. We are leaving LA, and arriving Miami. My mom has the green card. Do you have any idea or suggestions of applying visa for my mom to go through all those countries? I know, as American citizens, we don't need to apply for visa to Mexico, Costa Rica, Columbia, or Panama. What about my mother, who holds Chinese passport, yet she is the permanent resident for the United States.

  3. I was just back from the Jewel NCL for the Mexican Riviera cruise. I had a two bedroom family villa in the hevan level. My Butler was very good to us throughout the trip. I tipped my Butler the morning before the disembarkation. And he disappeared after that. He did not even replace the fresh fruit bowl that he always do for us. I wonder if I tipped him too early.

  4. Hello everyone. I have booked a Haven 2 bedroom villa through NCL jewel this December to Mexican Riveria for 7 days. Originally the group will be me, my mother, my son (12 year old), and my husband. Now my brother and my sister in law are planning to join us also. I understand that the 2-bedroom villa are supposed to hold 6 people. But I am worried about the size of the second bedroom, and if it will be too crowded for everyone. I am looking for the ideas and suggestions.
