  1. We are looking at a Princess one also. I will be curious to see how it is compared to the others. Royal Caribbean was my least favorite...it was like a Senior Citizen Prom the whole cruise...very stuffy atmosphere for us. We didn't eat in any of the specialty restaurants on Norwegian as we were very satisfied with all the choices changing nightly (we liked the Pasta bar on the buffet also where they make it hot right in front of you with the choices you want in it).

     

    One difference I did forget to mention..the main dining room. On Carnival we always go with my husband in khaki shorts (not on elegant night) and a polo. We went one one evening without even thinking about his khaki shorts and were turned away at the MDR on Norwegian because of the shorts. She very discreetly said she'd seat me while my husband went to the room to change into long pants. They definitely have a stricter dress code and stick to it.

     

    I'm actually surprised they asked your husband to change. I've seen people come in gym shorts and sweats and still get seated on NCL.
