Just off the Seaside in the Yacht Club 1 week ago. The food in the Yacht Club was very good IMO. The buffets they put out on the pool deck for breakfast and lunch were where we ate almost every day. My husband loved the burgers and they had a good variety of options (fish, salad, and a different cut of meat every day) with pasta specials every day too. The lobster in the Yacht Club dining room was surprisingly great! We ate one dinner at the Butchers Cut and it was fabulous! We also enjoyed a great pizza in our room almost every evening! Our only complaint in the Yacht Club was the bar service on the pool deck was very slow. Order two drinks at a time and you will be fine! Enjoy! I think you will love it!

We are new to MSC and sailing on Seaside 2/15/19 in the Yacht Club. Nothing against those who love formal night, I, however, do not! To each their own and I am not trying to start a debate on the subject, I would just like to hear suggestions on dinner options for those of us that prefer casual dining. Can pizza be ordered in the Yacht Club lounge or by the pool?

Awesome!!! Do you have any pictures? Also what side did you dock in Bermuda??? We were on the breakaway in an aft suite and saw our butler on the first day and then the last day when he wanted his tip.
Sorry, no pictures but we docked port side when we were there. I asked my daughter the butler's name, she said it was Pedro. Hopefully you have someone else by then! Enjoy! I would love to go back!

Just in this room 5/13-5/20, loved it. The butler wasn't good though, only saw him once, couldn't even tell you his name!

This show is worth every penny even though the food, in our opinion, was really bad. I would definitely see it again and just make other plans for dinner!

Just got off Escape, we had suite 11312. The balcony was a little smaller than our previous aft suite on deck 9 but was still plenty big! We had two lounge chairs, a side table between them and a dining table with 4 chairs. Best suites on the ship in my opinion!

Just got off the Escape Sunday and there were no straws to be had anywhere. Surely not a big enough deal to ruin the trip but we did learn rather quickly to ask the bartenders to stir our drinks!

5 days til "Haven" on the Escape!

We loved it! I am in an aft Haven again in May on the Escape. Didn't feel like we missed anything but I don't have any comparison. The views and breakfast on that huge deck were amazing!

Great info! DH and I were on the Getaway last year and I'm on the Escape for the first time in May with my daughters. Can't wait to compare! Breakaway is booked next year out of New Orleans with DH and already had me a little worried because it is during Mardi Gras, but what the hay, it is what you make it!

90 days until Bermuda on the Escape and 398 days until the Caribbean on the Breakaway!

Thank you so much for all the great feedback. We are booking for 2019 so have plenty of time to get a hotel and now I want to come in on Friday to enjoy the city before we sail!
-
Considering a cruise out of New Orleans but it's during Mardi Gras, I have never been to New Orleans and just wondering how difficult it will be to get a hotel and how crazy it will be prior to the cruise.

Are you given specific dining times or can you go to dinner in the yacht club whenever you want?

Booked May 13th, praying for good weather!

My husband and I are looking into trying MSC Yacht Club. Had our first experience on NCL's Haven last year and loved it but you can't beat the prices on MSC. Our only reservation is that we HATE getting all dressed up for dinners. We're on vacation! (Sorry to all the folks that are into it!) How was the dress code in the dining room? We are seriously thinking of just booking it and ordering pizza in our room on the formal night!

Sailed Getaway Haven in April, contacted pre concierge both by email and phone. None of my requests were accommodated but it was okay, once on board they will bring anything you want right away! Have a great trip!

Great review, thank you! Has anyone styed in the Haven aft penthouse suites and yet still fully enjoyed the amenities in the haven itself? We are booked in one in October and have always been a tad worried we won't get full haven benefits of not being right there.....but we have a HUGE deck lol......yay!

We stayed in an aft haven penthouse in May and absolutely LOVED it! I didn't feel left out at all but this was my first cruise in the Haven and I have nothing to compare to. The amazing view from our deck was well worth the little walk to get to the Haven restaurant and pool area. We had our butler serve breakfast on our deck many mornings and felt completely pampered! Have a great trip!

We stayed in the Haven Aft 4/24-5/1. You will love it! We had breakfast many mornings on our deck and it was amazing. Remember that the butler will bring you anything you want so you don't have to order off the card in your suite. Just call him and place your order the night before.
We did not mind the walk to the Haven at all once we learned our way around. The pool area is very nice, however, there was that one family on our cruise that everyone hates! They had about 5 small children and let them run wild in the Haven. There were many complaints and the concierge, John, stayed on top of it later in the week. We didn't spend as much time as I would have liked there, and don't get me wrong, I like children, just not the wild ones!
Enjoy! We can't wait to go back!

Sailed the Getaway 4/24-5/1 in the Haven Aft 9316. It was AMAZING!!! I couldn't get enough of the deck, I spent every spare moment out there. I even slept part of one night out there in a lounge chair! We had breakfast many mornings on the deck too. You will be so spoiled you will never want to leave.
The Haven pool area is really nice too. They bring around nice treats every afternoon. (Fruit, cold towels, even whole coconuts with straws!)
The only down side to the Haven for me was that the Haven restaurant menu never changes. Breakfast is great but the choices for dinner were limited, just my opinion. Everything we had was great though.
Have a great time!

We just got off the Getaway 5/1/16 and there was definitely something going on that day. We had an aft facing balcony and at 5:30 am, when we were sailing into port, I saw about 6 police boats fly by us with lights and sirens and surround the ship pulling in behind us. I think it was a carnival ship.
We just had a leisurely breakfast and left the ship at 9:30. It took about 45 minutes to get through customs.

9 days till Haven Getaway!!! First time with NCL and Haven, so excited!

Best Chocolate Martini Ever!
in MSC Cruises

We had the best chocolate martini's I've ever had last year on the Seaside in the Venchi bar. Has anyone asked for the recipe? Or, if your sailing soon could you ask for me? LOL
