Does anyone know the smoking areas in the Pacific Princess?

Still relatively new to cruising but eagerly awaiting a Mediterranean cruise in May/June. My husband and I generally stick with the ship's shore excursions (like the security that they promote). I called Princess a few weeks back when I noticed all shore excursions were available except for Rome (except for two debark tours but we're not ending in Rome). The Princess rep said to call back when the cruise was 90 days out. They'd all be listed.

They have since added three more.

I called back today and was told that what I see is what they have and that there's no interest in shore excursions in Rome. The main Princess page notes about 27 possible Rome excursions....only six on my cruise personalizer.

So....to my question..is it normal for the general list of excursions and the specific list for my cruise to differ so much?

Really appreciate any info.

Our ship will be docking for the day in Marseille and I was looking at the ship excursions. One town grabbed my eye - Roussillon. Has anyone been? From what I read/saw, they are at the centre of an ochre deposit, making for some spectacular photos. My question: we're in the town itself for one hour; can you see some views of the ochre from town?

We're sailing on the same cruise later on. Nothing has changed for us...yet. Odd to get rid of Naples. Is Kusadasi still there?

I've enjoyed your commentary and photos so much that I decided to check out your other Mediterranean cruise adventure. Stunning photos on your way in to Malta. (Currently have two tabs open on the iPad, which at times has left me a bit dizzy.)

Sadly it will be awhile before I hit elite. But I have my eye on the prize!

Hi Norris, It's been great following your days in Rome. The pictures are amazing (think I mentioned this already). Lots of great ideas for when we're in Rome (both sights and eats). Hi Norris. I'm new to both cruising and cruise critic. Husband and I are booked for Mediterranean 14 day Barcelona to Athens next year and seeing your story, I can't wait. Just sorry that Rome won't be at the beginning or end for us.

Your canon takes some great photos. I can relate to the volume. Had 2000 photos to weed thru after our first cruise last year (Baltic).

We just booked a 2016 Mediterranean cruise on the Royal Princess. I was curious what view we'll have of the shoreline. It's a big ship so I was unsure how close it gets....particularly interested in French Riviera/Cinque Terres/Greek Islands/Istanbul areas. (Avid -yet amateur- photographer.)

Could someone advise where all the smoking areas are on the Royal Princess. I have severe asthma and would like to know prior to cruising.
