I love mathematics.
Thats why I always shop in stores offering 10% off.
I buy ten items, and get them all for free!
What's not to like?
By the way...i have never found bribery works on Celebrity
Ha ha.
Cheers Sollyman.
Me and the Aussies are with you re bribery.

Just out of curiosity, how did you arrive at 36%?
Simple math (example)...
One drink@ $10 = $10 + 18% for a total of $11.80
Two drinks @ $10 = $20 + 18% for a total of $23.60!
There is NO 36%!
The simple answer to your question is that the gratuity is added to the price of the package, so you pay nothing extra per drink, even if you got the package as a perk, so sit back, sip your fru-fru drink and don't worry about it!
Surely its math(S) .. as in mathematic(S),...?.. with an S
Thank you.. love from your English friends.

My wife and I take our first cruise in February.
The wife has just asked me if I think there will be any talks / presentations offered on board, regarding the ports of call, or any other interesting topics, particularly during the sea days on board.. As I have no idea what the answer is, can anyone advise please ?

Hello everyone.
We are taking our first cruise on the Dream in February. We have chosen the Pride of Panama which visits Panama (obviously) Costa Rica and Columbia.
Each country has its own currency. Having never cruised before we are not sure how things work.
We plan to go ashore at each destination and whilst we wont need stacks of cash, we do anticipate needing a little bit for coffee, beers , small purchases etc.
How would people advise we manage this?.. Is it possible to exchange for local currencies on board, or should we take U.S. $$ and exchange at the destinations.. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you.

We were on this cruise last year,,,, we loved it !!! , and the dream, was for us,.. well a Dream !
Santa Marta is a great little town, we just wandered off the boat, walked into town and explored some of the lovely little markets and the bustling high street.
Enjoy, as we most certainly did
